How to get this yalung mask? / jump over a precipice?

    Hello,
i got two question and i hope someone can help me.
Below there is screenshot and i want to get the yalung mask marked with a red arrow on this screenshot. It seems to be on top of a mountain and i didn't found a way to get there.. .

Second question, how to jump over a precipice? Down on the south (green arrow) there are some unknown places, boxes and other stuff and i want to go there. But the path is destroyed and i need to jump over a precipice. Sadly i got know idea how to do this.. . Must be some combination of run and jump i guess. There was such a situation in the prolog as well but can remember it and this particular spot is a very bad one for learning it because i have to walk about 5 minutes to get there again after i failed. So what buttons do i need to press?

I don't remember either of those specifically.

Sometimes the masks are under mountains too.

The ledges sometimes not jumps .... look for grapple hook locations ... sometimes you have to swing and jump ... and/or use multiple hook locations in sequence.

Get the Buzzer and fly to them... unless of course you want to waste countless hours trying to figure out the logic behind UBI Devs LOL

That mask you can access only from the North, there is no place to climb on that cliff from the South. You also can't get there from the South with a Buzzer, since it will be too high for it (and you don't get a Buzzer before completion of Act 1). Once you finish Act 1 and get access to the rest of the southern Kyrat, you will be able to collect that mask.

As for those locations, it's not so difficult to access them by throwing the grapple, climbing, swinging on the rope and jumping. Just always look around and up, you will find the way pretty easily. You can also try to get there from the North-East instead of North-West...

And for goodness sake, take that Amita quest already, how can you walk around with only one weapon slot??? )))

You can find a way up that mountain right where you see the fog starts, where there's a little pond and a few houses, just east of the first tower. Either that, or you have to go way past the next radio tower. It's quite a journey up there, but it's well worth it, and will reward you with stuff and a fantastic view.

I seem to recall that that mask is in the spot where Hurk runs to at the end of the Call of the Wild mission.

Go to the cliffs just East of there and you will find places to grapple up onto the cliff. Then there's a series of tricky grapple swings and ledge jumps and wooden platform ledges you have to carefully navigate.

The mask ends up being in a cave, and you have to do a bit more grappling to get to it.

As far as I recall it's a fairly natural progression if you first seek the mask just East and slightly North of it shown on your map, above where the map menu says Fortschritt.

    Use the buzzer

You can get there with the buzzer, drop near the waterfall.
Yes its on the operational edge of the buzzer's limit but it will squeeze in up there,
If you are good you might jump that ledge, but I kept facepainting, I really dislike jumping games

Download the trainer by Fling, and use a super jump to get there.

Love reading all these threads where folks are guiding other's to areas in Kyrat.
I'm sure some of you know Kyrat better than your home town

LOL, so true, I get so obsessed with some games I have little nuances of the world in my visual memory, yet I'll forget where i put something the day before, or forget a route I've driven in my truck numerous times.
