Making a 2 player (local) game, player 1 controls work fine but when I try to test player 2 the pad operates all player 1 functions. All relevant data sources have been changed from Main to Second. This is on Xbox One - I did a local 4 player game on Fusion on 360 and everything worked OK using multiple pads to test in editing. Anyone else had this problem? Or know of a solution?
Haha yeah kinda guessed you'd say that
When I logged in to forum it asked if I wanted to link to redlynx forum (old) so I did n I think it reset some stats, thought it might give me back my old username but looks like I'm stuck with this one.
Still can't figure this out! On 360 each pad displayed whether it was player 1 etc on Xbox one it just lights up and I'm not sure if u can assign this pad to be p1 and that pad to be p2 or if it does it all on its own. I do like the Xbox one but some of its features seem a bit backwards and other basic features are just missing altogether, like being able to listen to music while editing! I don't wanna sit there with the audio thing snapped on screen all the time.
Anyway looks like everything's working but its a lot of f-ing around to test and I still don't know what'll happen when its posted!
Hi Das, all good thanksOriginally Posted by dasraizer Go to original post
It was a good suggestion but sadly still not working, I think that button is just for assigning the pad to an Xbox - I messed about with it anyways tho just in case.
I thought it might be cos I'm sat on my own with two pads n the kinect is only recognising 1 person so it is assigning both pads to player 1 but I tried testing it with the wife so the kinect would see two people but it still didnt allow either of us to test any two player functions. I'm sure it will be fine when its posted but very reluctant to actually do it without being 100% sure I can't test it and have no choice but to share it and hope for the best - if any dev can help clarify this I'd appreciate it![]()
