FPS Drops to 20 after 15 mins of gameplay

The game starts out nice an smooth regardless of if i use Medium, High, or Ultra settings, but after about 15 mins of gameplay there is a sudden drop to 20 FPS and very noticeable choppiness which makes the game run very poorly. I have the 1.7 patch. I have tried changing the DisableLoadingMip0="1" GPUMaxBufferedFrames="1". It does not help.

I have the latest nVidia drivers.

    Geforce 760
    i5-4220
    Asus 97A-Mobo.

    Please Help!

See if this doesn't help you. Helps me ....

Download and install MSI Afterburner 4.0.0

    Click on "On Screen Display"
At the bottom ... under the last line there is a box that says more .....
    Click on the "More" button.

This will bring another box up. On the right hand side look for the line that says "Frame Rate Limit"
Click on the arrow up until you get to "60"

Run MSI Afterburner when you play, this will lock your fps at 60. If this helps you, post in here that it worked. Again, this works for me as I suffer the same problem.
