Hi,

I noticed quite a few people here having issues with buying the gold edition + the season pass (when it came out) and then not getting the (new) DLC exclusive content to work.

Here's what I did.

When you bought both products each came with a 'different' CD key - and Steam and Uplay need to talk to each other to get it to work. Basically you need to activate the SeasonPass key in Uplay and also make Steam download the extra content. You probably activated the Gold Pass instead hence you're only seeing Hurk Missions.

Easy right - humm? :-)

Steps:

1) Open Steam - right click Far Cry 4, click "View Downloadable Content" - Click the DLC tab - click all boxes - this is what mine looks like after it's done. I did not find all the content downloaded - just needed to click the boxes and suddenly it started up!. See below once completed:

2) Once you click them - the extra content should start downloading - its large about 1.5GB so be patient. If you click (in steam) Tab LIBRARY - Downloads Steam shows you what is paused or downloading. Let it complete (it should do this automatically anyway).

3) Now - goto your games list in Steam - click it (or right click) and click CD Key:

4) This window should pop up (or similar). Click the Season Pass Uplay activation - and click copy to clipboard:

5) Now open UPlay - you've probably activated only your Gold Edition hence why you're only seeking the Hurk missions ?

Once in UPlay - click the settings cog here and click Activate Product:

6) The Product Activation window will appear below - copy your Season Pass key (still in clipboard from Steam ) into this and activate - it will now tell you have activated the extra missions. Success!!

8) You might have to go back into Steam - go to your Games List - right click Far Cry 4, click "View Downloadable Content" - Click the DLC tab - make sure all boxes are ticked and the State is Installed - like mine below:

Once you click these boxes - Steam will start downloading the content if it already hasn't. Step one should have started it - i'm not sure. Once done - all 5 DLC boxes should show the above status.

Now - for safe measure - close Steam and re-open, and close and re-open UPlay so they both apply the content changes - you can do this in the bottom right hand corner icons in Windows - or via the task manager.

When you re-start the game the Durgesh Mission is in the start menu and the Syringe, Hurk Missions etc are on the map. I can't find the Yeti mission - I think you have to complete a few DLC missions before it comes available on the map?

That's it - if you've activated the Season pass key when you bought it - possible switch these instructions around. Or if you've just bought the Season Pass now then the Steam instructions might force the DLC content installtion. I'm not sure. I came up with this last night and it worked - I will try and help others if you post below. Ubi's own support team suggestions on getting this working doesn't work - so hope this helps everyone!

Enjoy!

BTW - I have no Coop friends in Australia - so feel free to invite me "bluejam00" for Coop games in my time zone :-)
