Thanks, Ganj. Not sure many would agree with you though.

Bartender, pretty cool lyrics. Always found Country lyrics fascinating, despite not being a genre of choice for me. Has a type of hip-hop/Country vibe to it.

    Try these:-

Love this tune, it's not the original though.AC/DC did a pretty good version of this, also.

Well I have to say I'm very impressed by this thread!

@Rude - I also love this version of "Please don't go" by the Amboy Dukes.

    Interesting mixture, Cag.

That first tune is pretty funky, I like the folk tune from Odetta. The Amboy Dukes; by, that's a bit heavy. Love the Bass though. The dude on the cover looks like Lennon from the Sgt Pepper days.

    The Prisoners, dig that organ!

Nice Rudey! Yeah love the organ on the prisoners track. Really (Really!) not a fan of the Kinks though -they've always grated on me, but really like The Solarflares track (the first one especially).

    Some blues now...

Sure were some Baby Please don't Go covers. Good tune though. Dig the 3rd track, nice guitar work.

    /slips into Prisoners mode:-

The heady combination of swirling organs, explosive guitar riffs and late 60's Psych vibes. Top band.

Very nice indeed. Can't think why I've not heard more than the odd song by them.

They never broke into the mainstream, mate. The charts were full of crap like Bros and Bronski Beat, at the time. Cult favourites, amongst old Mods, hipsters and garage officianado's.
