Did you by chance have a major system crash? BSOD? or a system restore?

Nope, haven't had a BSOD in 5 years, and other than a system freeze which was caused by some Firefox error, everything else is fine
and this is the only game effected as all my AC games are still installed.
Every other game i have is still working this is the only one that has spontaneously vanished from my PC, hence why i blame
Uplay, as with all the problems people have had this can be added to the list and before you ask No, no one else has access to my desktop,
as I'm the only one who ever uses it plus it's password protected(16 character aplha numeric/upper/lower case) so they ain't gonna get in,
plus there are only 3 people in my house and i they haven't used my PC as i have a Laptop they use when they need internet.

Beside A BSOD wouldn't randomly delete a game folder when it occurs, or at least i have never heard of a BSOD causing a game to delete.
I have been using PC's since i was 5 back in the late 80's and have never had a BSOD cause this sort of thing.

I checked my system restore and the last recorded was 3 days ago so i can't restore the files, as i wasn't home 3 days ago and my PC was unplugged due to storm weather the day i left and yes i shut down before unplugging it, i also tured off the PSU before unplugging, haven't had any boot massages of a bad shutdown.

BSOD's can cause deletion of folders....depending on how bad the crash was. Needing to do a system restore to an earlier point would absolutely affect this, but if your game has been installed since before then, then this does not apply to you.

I had the exact same problem you're having now, but it was due to a BSOD and a "forced" system restore, a lot of AC:BF files became corrupt and they needed to be re-downloaded.

Do you maybe happen to have a program that keeps your PC cleaned up and ship-shape? Maybe there is an option for the program where if the software hasn't been used in "x" amount of time, it recommends that you uninstall it to save space/performance. I know AVG PC Tune-Up does that. But it would be unorthodox for the program to delete the other software without your express permission.

Also, is there some part of Windows (I'm assuming that you're using Windows) where you can see a "log" of sorts to tell you everything that has been documented? Like, driver updates, system restore points being created? Crash reports? The installing and uninstalling of software? The addition of new(er) hardware?

    Just trying to help...

I have AVG but not the PC clean up add-on and i don't have any programs that uninstall if the program isn't used for "x" amount of time
    haven't any need for it.
    I have 4 HDD's( 2x1TB, 1X2TB, 1x750GB and 1,x500gb) and 6 partitions so space isn't a problem.

Yes I am running Win7 64bit and i can't think of any programs that lists all my documents, drivers/ crash reports.

Good thing is i have re-downloaded the game, left me laptop running last night and I'm copied the download game files to
an external drive and am now copying them to the same named folder on my desktop, so hopefully when i re launch uplay
and restart the download it will check the files and download any additional files i might need then i can start the install.
