I know I should know this...

How do you make events remain in place after a checkpoint restart? Like OPE objects and effects? In the main levels a big part of the theme is that time has moved on after a restart, Is this as simple as I think it should be? does disable after hit or reset in checkpoint restart make a difference? i've played around with them without any joy so far... hoped someone could help before I wade through the evo tutorials again
    thanks

Also I'm currently having issues with custom checkpoints, it's the first time i've tried to use them and my OPE only works when I restart at the CP not when I pass through it.
    Thanks. again.

Custom checkpoint issue fixed thanks to Satch on twitch

Hey elCamsterino. I have been in this same situation before. I don't have the game on right now but I believe the problem that I had was not making sure that all object and logic boxes involved with the event were not unchecked on the reset in checkpoint restart. It is very easy to miss one. You could also experiment on a much smaller scale so you can quickly troubleshoot the problem.

That's the worse feeling ever. I have done that several times.
