If you want to have a g-cart experience go play Mario Kart. If you want to wreck people buy Wreckfest. But as long as collisions are this punishing to the player rammed and this advantageous for the rammer the people that play this game with the best intentions should, in my opinion, receive some kind of solution e.g. no collision lobbies or damaging collisions.

P.S. If you ram someone off of the track at gokarting you can expect you're pulled out immediately.

Well, it's street racing this means also street rules, so everything goes.
If you have a event on one of the tracks, that's a different story and should have some punishment for shortcuts and collisions.
For me, if I'm racing I usually try clean, because in ramming the chances are too high that you spin yourself out.
But if someone rams me, then it's "challenge accepted", and mostly that's half of the fun.

Yeah but how do you know if the ram was premeditated or just an accident because some one is driving a car with a fat*** (looking at you D-Spec Cherokee).

As for street racing if you purposefully ram somebody;at the end of said race when you go to collect your cash you are going to get the **** beat out of you.
If everything goes why not just have the devs code in a gold D-3agle so we can pop the guy lined up next to us? 510's are a gang after all.

We need different lobbies plain and simple.

It all comes down to who you play with. Sure, I mostly play alone in PVP, because of my weird working hours. But more than enough times I play with people who want to drive without traffic, but with collisions. It is okay, as long as you won't see some dude driving counter-clokwise on Circuit Track.

I prefer to play without collisions and without traffic. Why? Every mistake you make is your own, and your unability to perform. Nothing depends on others and your skills are the only thing that stands between you and first place.

But a lot of times I've found lobby where people actually played like they would drive on real tracks: they move out of your way, when you are much more quicker than them, they brake when they'd hit you, and don't ram the hell out of your car - just for fun. Those are the best races I've taken part of and I love that more and more people feel that way. Of coruse, you will get hit now and then, but that's the part of the game, I guess

If you don't like collisions - win and turn them off. If you like them - win and turn them on. Just saying, that all missions in this game are with collisions, but nobody seems to have problem with that?

    Easy way to avoid collision

Easiest way to avoid a collision. Just stay in last place. I dot it a lot of the time when I know players do anything to win. It doesn't bother me at all to come in last. I just play to play and get money for other cars and decals.

I take any collision as intentional in race or free roam, doesn't matter.
Only exception if someone gets pushed, but at the end it's part of the game.

I am playing with a wheel and clutch nd H-Gate Shifter

And seriously, I can live with those small ramming stuff, like when you are driving head to head and hit each other a bit. But what I cannot live with is the both following:

    1. A keyboard-all assist guy ramming me when I get fast him cleanly, so that I spin out completly, that I have to use one hand to somehow calm the spinning out force feedback of my wheel and the other hand to somehow get into a new shifting WHILE the keyboard all assistace guy just has to do "ARROW LEFT" and is completly perfectly in line again and more than 1 mile in front of me (happened to me 30 minutes ago for example)

    2. Guys who just play PVP to be able to ram. They dont even want to finish the races. They ram you into a corner where you can only get out with "back to route" key, and if you go back to route, they are just gonna skip a few checkpoints to be able to ram you again.

I know that most likely only 30% of the players act like that (and only 1% act like "2."), but it ****ing annoys me. Can't people take the game A TINY BIT SERIOUS though it is an arcade game? Why the heck is the only way for them to get past me to spin me out completely? Why do they even spin me out when I see that they are coming from behind, so that I am driving to the side to let them pass and to prevent a collision? Why is there this "NEED TO RAM EVERYONE BY PRESSING "RIGHT KEY" " mentality?

    I get your point.

But it also has plenty of space for interesting experiences. Just now I raced a guy trying to correct a mistake he made by capitalizing on spinning me. Turns out I made a mistake by the beginning of the race and almost rammed the guy accidentally, and I guess he interpreted it as a premeditated crash. So he rams me by the back, spins me out of the course and gains a spot, leaving me for the last position. It's interesting how it conveys other people's actions and intentions.
But for the most part I only see people racing seriously nowadays.

I usually Quit those games, where people constant ly choose those , i dont mind traffic, but at least put option on so the traffic population could be set on Medium, much or little, the races become more skillbased and not lucky based as many of them is at the moment because one wrong turn it is IMPOSSIBLE ot get back if there is no collision on ( That means there isnt any Slipstream ) and that also meaning playing as a crew in PVP dont meant a thing.

My Idead when i first saw game last year and heard about missions in pvp i though hey, then we have to work as a crew TOGETHER and make tactics on who is gonna be the speed runner and who is gonna be the tough guy and "Carguard" ( Bodyguard)

Also often people on your team if it is random dont understand we are team mates, so why are they ramming you at even sometimes, make it that bad so your lose the important place there make the final result 20-19 on a close race but instead 19-20 and lose.

At least put "Friendly Ramming" off so people on own teams cant ram each other , else i dont mind ramming its like that in every Car Games , its the same with every other games, shooters etc allways someone who cant control there weapns.
I mostly use collison off and trafic on.
First, there are those, who ram the hell out if you mange to pass them and just rearend you on purpose. Then there is also the so called latency issue where there is a minor lag and causes accidental crashes. I don't use back on track (my problem) and those lagging issues and accidents that happen that way are hard to recover from. With bullies who ram on purpose, it is enaugh to outdrive them (usually easy to do on complex tracks). But I've found that collisions off is the best way to go (does not apply with track races, where it would just be 111% drafting skill).
Trafic - this must be on to give a little twist in the game. Without trafic it still becomes more like a drafting race. If the drafting would make more sense, then it would be OK without the trafic.

    My two cents.
