Is there a life after first season in the Bunker?..

    Hi everyone,

So here's what's been on my mind recently a lot... What's going to happen on 1 Feb at 10pm GMT? That's in my understanding when first bunker season ends.

Does the bunker close? Will we be able to start new showdowns? Maybe the ability to start a showdown will disappear 24H beforehand? Or shall all open showdowns run till their end? What happens to our tickets? I know it was discussed elsewhere, but I still feel is the Bunker closes RL can easily introduce "season two tickets".

    Discuss please

I don't think the next season will start immediately. I think that they will leave some break in between. I wont be surprised if the next season could be in two weeks or even a month.
After all, they aren't going to give the Donkey blueprints so fast. We are assuming that Donkey is 20 blueprint. But actually, we don't know. Could be even 30 or 40 pieces.

Tickets is a hairy issue. They could null our accounts but there are already players who paid money for those tickets.

Not sure they would want the Bunker to be idle for too long...a day at most.... or not even at all. An idle customer isnt a paying customer, and can be diverted to other games too easily.

They dont really need to have any break between seasons; they may stop accepting showdowns for Season1 24 hours in advance so that everything is actually done on that date.... or they may just let any showdown started after Season 1 end automatically be Season 2 (ie literally change from one minute to the next).

How do other games handle this "season" aspect?

Edit: they can pry my Golden Tickets from my cold dead fingers. Gonna be REALLY pissed if anything happens to them. But I would not be surprised to see one or all of these, in order to increase the need/use of tickets (since they treat this as a business):
    - Shorter season (less time to get to legends means you need to start more showdowns per day).
    - Fewer free showdowns per day... maybe reduce to 2 or 1, now that they have us hooked on 3/day.
    - Increased cost of a showdown.... maybe 20 tickets.
    - The more showdowns you have going, the more it costs to start another. (That would put a quick stop to the "start 30 showdowns and fly to legends" strategy).

What I'm interested in is how the Donkey feels.
It is small bike, yet all tiers bike. It is a small bike for Tier 3 technical tracks. My impression is the Donkey is going really light and really fast and yet, the most difficult to control. I think only the best rider would be able to tame it.

Usually speed bikes are the hardest to master IMO - Dumptruck is obviously not in this category -.

One possible theory that the next season wont start immediately is that they will resolve the bunker's connectivity issues. This could be pumping their infrastructure. Maybe they don't want to do it now and take the bunker down for half a day or so (insert a joke here).

I'm expecting the Donkey to be a complete novelty bike, not sure what else it could be. It was pretty much like that in the other games. I also don't know why everyone assumes it is more than 10 blueprints. I know the rest of the bikes were, but this is kind of a different situation. We will just have to wait and see.

it would be borderline criminal if they did anything to nullify current golden tickets since people may have actually paid for them. i would say conventional wisdom would suggest they are generic and can be used in any season.

i really expect a seamless transition between seasons. i think the next season starts immediately after the current one ends.

I don't understand why people still question where our golden tickets will go at the end of a season. Obviously they will carry over. I agree that the next season will start immediately. There might be a very small amount of time where the bunker is closed where they update the prizes and everyone's rank is closed, but other than that is imagine it's just going to just right from season 1 to 2.

I'm really just thinking worst case scenarios here - expect the worst, but hope for the best as they say

Good point I also think next season will go off with a bang what with there being so many people with extra golden tickets when the season starts.
