Should we throw a tournament for trials frontier like we used to for trialdhd?
You post your times and a picture at the finish line and aggregate the scores from lets say 5 tracks?
Here is an example.http://trialshd.net/Challenge/Season3.aspx
Really wish this was in the game already, it seems to easy for them to implement..... half the challenge of a tournament is doing a long series of tracks in a row. I
I would nominate this as a set; the ones that seem to typically separate the men from the boys (so to speak).lets say 5 tracks?
Casino Rooftop (tier 1)
Alpha Street (tier 1)
Hilltop Ghetto (tier 2)
Balance Avenue (tier 2)
Quagmire (tier 3)
Other decent choices (leaving out the PvP ones for the moment)
Refinery Abyss
Grindhouse
This is a brilliant idea! You're right it should be easy to install the feature.
Well the old version required an image uploaded to imageshack. I know my phone can take a pic at the end by pressing the home key + power button.
I wasn't planning on running a bracket more like an everyone vs everyone kinda thing.
I like that idea; it willl still let them make multiple runs on a track which isnt really like a tournament, but it does insure its a recent run, and thats probably the best we can do. Also I wouldnt let it drag out too long (maybe 2 days or so) because it should be more about skill, and not lots of repetition.Originally Posted by iviarkD Go to original post
A very good idea mark!Originally Posted by xitooner Go to original post
Also, Great idea Scrub. Hopefully platform won't matter.
Both games are the same on each phone type right? I would love to see both platforms compete.Originally Posted by CagBall Go to original post
Same game, different leaderboards. To do iviarkDs suggestion, you would need some knowledge of both LB in advance. Its still doable though; definitely woudl prefer a cross-platform effort (funny how we might do it but Frontier itself apparently never would)Originally Posted by GameScrub Go to original post![]()
So you can play against a ghost? I didn't know that. Cool beans I'll try that today.
@Gamescrub: If you host a tournament, I'd gladly participate.
