i'll go crazy if I have to watch a 15 minute intro before I start running every single time. Please, to keep my sanity intact, please for the love or Kyra, teach me how to skip the intro cutscene! I have tried that '-skipintro' b.s but no luck. I JUST WANT TO SPEEDRUN
In other news...I just completed the prologue in 8:46 but I won't share it here just incase I get banned for 'advertising' or somethin which sucks...wouldn't have minded someone actually watching my runs </3
For what its worth...if it helps...I'm playing through UPLAY and not STEAM. I should have pointed that out. Does it make a difference? I copied the shortcut to my desktop and entered what you said. Then when on the game menu I clicked on 'start new game' and yeah...had to sit through the cutscene. No luckOriginally Posted by izzyeckerslike Go to original post![]()
I'm playing via Uplay also so I'm not sure why yours doesn't work!Originally Posted by Peasantpls Go to original post
Lets just check, you went to program filesX86 /Ubisoft/ Farcry4/ Bin/ & then selected the black square FarCry4 & right click create shortcut,
I just redid mine following the same as above so i don't get why yours doesn't work
Oh...well in that case it does work...still wanna figure out how to skip the intro cutscene though.Originally Posted by tcul1972 Go to original post
Hi, I don't want to be a pain, but this sounds promising and you sound confident....so....how do I do it? Make a back up copy? Youtube tutorial?Originally Posted by madasafox Go to original post
A tutorial can be found in the post in this forum HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN MULTIPLE SAVES. The link is below.

Im on my second play through and I make a backup after every session so if I want to I can go back to any point in the game.
This was useful when I was having problems with the Willis mission not starting properly. I was able to just copy in one of my backups and try some things to bsort it out. In the end the problem was I had to return to yogi and regi to do the first shangrila mission before Willis missions would start.
