1) The chat is something we treat differently because it's a live event and where it's much easier to derail a conversation and state false facts for new viewers.

2) There has been a lot of instances where people have been just throwing out dates or statements like "I heard (insert release here) is not coming out next month, right devs?" just to troll us or try to get us say something we shouldn't say. It's really hard to answer that without giving out information we don't want to give away and if we don't answer that people keep asking it or make their own conclusions from that, when it's just a question we don't want to answer.

3) 10min time out is 1/12 of the whole stream. It doesn't affect anything else in twitch or add to your infractions or something, you just can't post in our chat for 10min.

4) We stream twice a week, there will be more streams where you can chat with other Trials players and fans, but that's not a problems since the time out was 10min to begin with so you could have still chatted in the same stream you got that time out in.

5) If this was a permanent ban I would say that it wasn't justified and I would unban you, but it's not. 10min time out, life goes on, nothing more to it. This is not as serious as you make it sound IMO.

Edit: Also it's a bit different when you look from our perspective: We need to moderate a life feed, make sure we answer questions, dodge all the hate and trolls, lead people to right channels to get information, comment the stream, think about stuff we need to do and be entertaining at the same time. When you're in that situation you can't really stop and think about every comment and judge was the humor there just a joke or was it made for other reasons.

Also breaking the rules on the forum and stating it out is not a shield against infractions. If you break the rules, you break the rules.

Adding "it was a joke" onto something that is not funny does not automatically make it a joke or funny. I do not care if YOU consider it a joke, I did not. You posting blatant lies about my giving out information will always result in timeouts on official streams that I am moderating.

Also, might be a bad idea to log into another account to access the forums while one of your accounts is suspended as this is considered ban-evasion and grounds for permanent suspension of all forum accounts.

Please realize that posting again from any of your accounts before February 4th will result in the consequences outlined in the forum rules.

I'd just sit this one out until February 4th Psykoz. Shifty is at least giving you a chance to come back to the forums. Believe me, I wish I had been given a warning like this prior to my ban. I too made a second account after the fact and was 'permanently' banned for "ban dodging". They do this by logging your IP address.

You're a good guy Psykoz and I think the community would ultimately be better off having you here rather than having you permanently banned. If you'd like to share some things a little more loosely w/o the forum filter, you can send me an XBL message anytime buddy. I'm not a mod nor can I necessarily help your current situation, but I can certainly try to alleviate some of your anger and frustration.

The 'warning' I was referring to was not the infraction itself, but the 'heads-up' verbal warning personally issued here by yourself to another user, stating the consequences to come if his actions continue on in the manner they are.

I was only trying to help.
