I have Rocksmith 2014 for PS4 and PC (steam). I'm using the same Uplay account for both platforms but Uplay don't treat them as the same, all the trophies and stuff are separated.
Also, all the DLC I bought are not shared between platforms, is this normal?
Is there a way to link them, so I can have the same progress (and, DLC, if possible) in both platforms?
Thanks
Well, if I buy Call of Duty and it's related DLC map packs on PC and then decide to purchase it on the PS4, I wouldn't get those map packs for free from Sony because I had already bought them on the PC.
Games saves are not stored on an Ubi server. They are unique to the network you play on. Again, using Call of Duty, if I complete 5 missions on the campaign on the Xbox One and then start playing on the PS4 the game would not start me on mission 6. Within the same console family you can sometimes, Xbox 360 to Xbox One, but not cross platform.
As other have said, this game is not cross platform for the consumer. There is not cyncing across platforms either.
It's actually the exception to see for any video game.
A lot of times, difference teams work on different platforms for games. Some stuff my be general, but platform specific things, not so much.
Its like this, you cannot pay at KFC and get the Burger at Mcdonalds menu prices
Maybe there's a different alternative, but the idea would be a good one.![]()
