    Holy Cow!

What is with all the spam going on lately in the forums recently.

I've seen about 40 different threads about how to "get my ex back into my love life"

I don't recall seeing stuff like this happening until just recently, has the forums had problems with spam like that before?

I'm no fan of spam posts either, but how else is anyone expected to get in touch with sick love gurus and capitalize on the wicked deals only middle-eastern salesmen can offer?

It's not just ubi forums, it's pretty much most large forums getting spammed these days by similar things, and they get smarter, and bypass captcha stuff, and they got dynamic IP's so you can't ban them 1 by 1 either.

More of the world getting connected, more bandwith available, computers getting stronger/cheaper, so there's more hacker/bot/ddos capacity sadly as well.

    Just ignore them indeed.

    these days ?

this has been happening way back in the days of msn and yahoo , nothing new , infact in someways atleast these days the spam doesnt hide what use to be called a bomb which completly bombed your pc with inapropriate pop ups , 100's of them. To be honest i think the bombing was an american design which then stemed to the yahoo group chat rooms where is was deemed fun and cool to compete against people and bomb the hell out of each other with bots and so forth. No harm actually came to the computers but i think it ended up being banned due to people using it to bomb inapropriate popups of the adult nature.

To stop the bomb you either had to have a bomb your self in which you scripted it to cancel the detonation out or you had to be very quick in closing all popups down before they got to bad. This was indeed done in a controlled place and was for that sole purpose and deemed as fun , but i think dodgy company recreated thier own versions which totally advertised thier product and completly spammed your pc if you clicked the link and so forth.

I been waiting for a mail order bride as the one i bought 4 years ago is broke , she just keeps nagging all the while........

Or report them. Reporting is better.
