Anyway good to see Ubi are going to fix it.
Good to see that they are fixing it? It hasn't been working since launch and the reason I bought FC4 was for the coop! Every patch I get excited to see if it'll work, but every time I get very disappointed! Ubisoft say they will fix it, while my copy is just collecting dust and dust everyday!

Yes I agree that me and my friends got this game specifically for the co-op, and we still haven't been able to try it since we got the game.

Come on Ubisoft the game has been out for like idk 3 months and you still haven't fixed the initial issues in the game that any other company would've fixed in a day 1 patch!

Have you opened the ports used by the game in your modem (And computer firewall on PC, don't know if there's something similar on consoles, never touched one for longer than a hour)? I have had ZERO connectivity issues, most of them are because either your NAT settings are bad (Symmetric? Should always be full-cone if you want to host a game.), or the ports used by the game aren't open. Check the manual for the ports, I can't remember them from the top of my head.

Why would I need to do that when I have no problem with other games like CoD and GTA? I blame Ubisoft and not my connection, nat type, internet or whatever.

Maybe those games use ports that are already open? Games most often use different ports. Unfortunately issues with ports and NAT configurations aren't directly related to Ubisoft at all (The idTech 3 based engine used in Call of Duty games is known for good NAT punchthrough though, not sure about GTA, but I bet it handles NAT punchthrough better than Ubisoft's engines).

We changed the ports, disable the firewall and we can't play coop
we can play with random people, so the ports are not the problem, it's something from ubisoft
