i think you got things a bit mixed up there - cheating is when people add coins, gems, do negative faults etc. that's cheating, and that's what needs to be addressed, and not community members working together to achieve a win-win for all

    +1 bunnyhop90

The bunker is obviously a gaming mode for the leaderboard players, average players have no chance. So it is nice if people are helping each other. I don't mean that the original poster is an average player, I mean myself.

Ping-pong doesnt have to eliminate skill; all of my legend ping-pongs are "pong for 23 hours and may the best man win". Do that enough and the "dominate the other player with your skill from the beginning" approach just seems so inefficient its almost irritating. If anything the one-hour battle seems to be more skill-focussed since you have less time and free tickets available. Generating a larger pot/chips more worth your time and trouble isnt cheating, its smart.

And when you DO make a deal with a player to give him a win but you get chips,etc...... hey, no rules are being broken and it requires consenting players to work. What happens in the showdown stays in the showdown. Its not all about domination/winning all the time... I dont see a big difference between letting my young nephew win at chess versus letting a consenting player who probably has less upgraded bikes get a boost. No harm done; later when its an equal match we can play for real.

Likewise for the approach of using a ton of tickets to start enough matches to propel you into Legends. It breaks no rules; it really only works if you can manage to string wins together.... its not like you arent playing matches, etc. Its a strategy, not a cheat.

If you guys compete at the end that's still a legit race. If any wins are due to an agreement, that nullifies the legitimacy of you making the rank of legend.

Even with good intentions, your nephew still didn't win.

on my android account im going to end up having won 4 matches do to ping ponging arrangements but thats certainly not why im making into legends in the end. personally im just tired of dealing with the constant baby sitting so when the opportunity arose i took it. too be perfectly honest i had a reasonable chance of winning the 4 showdowns outright if i really wanted to stress out about it but why bother if you know your opponent doesnt care either?
It doesn't say anything about your skill, really. Just that you didn't make it to legend legit.

its not like making it to legends is an accomplishment for the slightly above average player to even make so who cares? its the ranking inside legends that matters if anything does.

is someone starting 50 showdowns at once while at a low rank considered making it legit?

No, I believe cheating covers exploiting the game as well. There are people who made it to legend purely by beating their opponents in a competition. Those who did not don't deserve to be in the rank.

You probably think I'm being harsh, but the point is to feel rewarded when you are skilled enough to legitimately able to get the rank.

If both parties are trying to win the race, yes.

ehhh i know im skilled enough to make it legit. i went all the way up to 2 before there was even a chance to help someone else get chips and i did it by only playing 3 matches a day not even everyday.
i dont feel rewarded getting into legends anyway but at least now i dont have to monitor my game so closely.
