in the past week or two ive managed to have so many runs good enough for second place on all kinds of tracks. keep in mind this is on android so the #1 time isnt the highest but still. ive had a fair amount of second places on ios too so its getting kind of absurd. thank god i did briefly hold an overall WR on ios on a well established track or i would be going crazy right now.
on one particular track i was working on a time saver that had yet to be completed on android and while i was getting close i couldnt put it all together. i ended up second on the track without the timesaver but i knew if i could hit it i would surely get the record. A day or two goes by and i decide to give it another try only to see im now #3 on the track. I check out the first time and good ole manchester ctid has hit the time saver and crushed the top time. I manage to finally hit it too and reestablish my second place and prove once again that im a dollar short and a day late.
sorry for the humble brag.
Love it. I do wonder why you say Android times aren't as high. Is this a fact or is it just consensus since more people play on iOS? There's always the chance the better riders play on Android!
its a fact that almost all WR are on IOS and not android. a lot of my times on IOS would be android records and they might only be top 15 times on ios.
Yeah I'm pretty sure most of the more competitive players are on iOS. There are exceptions, like Manchesterctid (who wasn't that active on Evo), but it seems to be the case for the most part.
he and gtdave are obviously very good. i think someone like gtdave would have much better times if he was pushed more. mati sport is up there too.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
oh i do know its because im just plain old badOriginally Posted by iviarkD Go to original post
thanks again for the compliment. i might end up getting one by accident through anba like i did with wolf den on ios. who knows. now that i have passed gtdave on a few tracks i do feel like its a possibility.
Most of the top players are on iOS only because content is first designed for iOS and then it is ported to android. Which would explain the file size difference between Android and iOS. Its mostly because people want the content as soon as its available, no matter what platform its on.Originally Posted by xzamplez Go to original post
But...with the last update for the bunker being released on both Android and iOS at the same time, this could be up for question...
While I admit that people may choose IOS over Android because most games in general tend to be released first on IOS (or released on both at same time). . . its a rare person who chooses their phone based on a specific game. And Android was released only 1-2 months after IOS... around 9 months ago. Android LB numbers are still shockingly low. Either gamers in general flock to IOS (maybe), IOS is where all Trials players happen to be (hard to believe). . .or RL severely botched their Android release PR campaign.Originally Posted by llDumptruckll Go to original post
IOS LB numbers (can anyone report these for Android?)
Three Bridges: 1.8 million (who started the game)
Crane Peak: 208K (who stuck with the game)
Underground Slopes: 43K (who is playing PvP)
You will definitely get there; but you do seem to have shockingly bad luck.Originally Posted by sriskus Go to original post![]()
I know you have been upgrading your Android bikes but.... WR aside, are any of your personal bests on Android as good as they are on IOS?Originally Posted by sriskus Go to original post
I still have trouble buying that Android WR scores are so low due to less competition... the volume of people playing may not be as high an Android, but it really doesnt seem like it would take much to foster enough competition to get the WR up comparable to IOS. All it takes is two really good people, and Android clearly has at least 10-15 people who have talent.
