    Favela Escape

    Map Name : Favela Escape
    Map Type : Extraction
    System : PC

    Hello Far Cry Community,

I have released my fourth custom map for Far Cry 4 PC.The title is Favela Escape, a homage to Max Payne's favela. You are tasked with reaching your extraction alive. You have a little less than one mile to your extraction point but, what a mile it will be. With this map I attempted to immerse the player in their environment. The town should look and feel very realistic. You can choose to stealth this mission or go it loud. It supports both play styles. Both will be challenging.

Please give it a download and stop here to let me know what you think. I am interested to see what other map creators think of this effort.

Keep an eye out for Golden Path symbols. They mark an easier path or some goodies nearby. ;-)

At the very least enjoy and Happy New Year.

    Here are some sceenies...

Really like the look of this from the images you posted, shame I am on PS4, you have a modern town / theme which looks gorgeous.

Thanks Fallen. I tried to get away from the village/outpost thing with this. Maybe someone can port it to the PS4.

If someone would like to, you have my blessing.

It looks very detailed, the problem we have on consoles is the Object Limitation, once that gets to 100% we are not allowed to place any more items in the map - plus they have the object limitation by grid squares also which means we can only have a set number of things in one square.

Most maps on console get to around the 50% memory mark so could easily handle almost double the allowance they put on us, I heard that Old and New Consoles have the same budget which IMO is wrong.

So I think it would be difficult but I am sure someone could use a similar type of theme, hopefully a video might get posted showing some of the action or scenery around the map wink wink.

With that in mind, I would have to agree with you. Although no grid is over budget, most are very close. I can't even begin to tell you how many objects it took to make that cluttered ghetto look but, it was quite a bit. I was pegged at 100% for most of the map. I doubt you could achieve that with a limit. Most of the grids would look pretty bare.

My buddy is making a video later when he gets home from work. I don't do video stuff.
