Now that I own the Royal palace, drove Amita away and shot Sabal, why is the Royal Army still attacking me? They are under my command.
What would be cool that instead of checking to have the Royal Army posses all bases again, I now would have to conquer them back from the Golden Path. The roles reversed. It would also fit overall violence and power struggle themes in Fary Cry 3 and 4.
Anyway, great game. I hope we can expect some DLC with narrative that warrants a more interesting dive back in than collecting masks and such.

as would an option stemming from the "secret" beginning/ending to side with the royal army, work your way up doing missions for Yuma, Paul, et al. , and eventually have an option to usurp Pagan's throne.
1. You killed or exiled Pagan before he could say "Hey, don't shoot my heir."
2. You've shot a bazillion soldiers. Imagine a world in which Kinf George III said, "Okay, chaps, Mister Washington is the new crown prince... so all of you blokes who lost families and friends with these uppity revolutionaries... fuggedaboutit!" Half the country is still going to hate your guts.
3. Considering the Golden Path is now associated with either mass executions or child kidnapping, the Royal Army will probably experience a surge of popularity.
4. It would require an entire disc's worth of new game in order to accomplish.
Far Cry games are open world playgrounds. They have to leave sufficient cannon fodder for players to complete whatever outstanding achievements / trophies post-game.
For me, once I complete the main campaign + all side quests + all collectibles + all trophies, I'm done. Won't bother with 100% game completion since it's not worth the time effort. Why should I waste money (just because I can?) on guns I won't use or time finding every hidden location just to achieve a meaningless statistic?
