I recently bought Far cry 4 (for 70 dollars). I want to play with my sister who along with me has been a fan of the series since Far cry 2. I tried to download it on her account but the activation code doesn't work twice. Do I need to buy another copy? Can I just buy the code? Can ubisoft give me a free code? btw I have played almost all AC games except revelations, all far cry games minus the first, splinter cell blacklist and the crew. Can ubisoft show me some love!![]()
All they want is your money.Originally Posted by hurplemads Go to original post
I thought you could invite friends to play without them owning the game?
The game is designed to allow players to invite friends to play cooperatively even if those friends do not own the game. To do this eligible players will receive ten invites which they can then send out to said friends who will be able to download a version of the game and play alongside the host player on a trial basis
You can have as many game saves as you want , if you do a little manual intervention.Originally Posted by hurplemads Go to original post
You can have a 100 different people playing their own game on your computer IF...they can all remember to save it and copy it and paste their game into the save game folder.
So no worries the PC is king when it comes to saved games.
Heres how:
AndyJackson has nailed it. He's repeated this good solid advice many times.
OF COURSE it is necessary for different players on separate PCs to each own their copy. If I want to drink a beer or buy a car/house/aeroplane I don't expect it reasonable to get a free one every time I buy one.
You can save extra games and the little copy and paste needed to play different games on the ONE ACCOUNT is not onerous. You shoudl do it as a matter of course to ave games against hacks etc Its what USB flash drives are for.....BUT you will only have one player identity, that of the purchaser. You merely drive their car in effect.
All those who object to Capitalism and making money I suggest I give you a thousand dollars and you provide a comparative game; you'd need many many millions and a huge team as the credits will attest to. IT COSTS HUGELY to make any modern game, not least to still run on a variety of hardware and keep everyone "happy". Yes, many hacked copies deprive funds and we pay more to offset that "leakage". ALL that revenue means we have Far Cry 5 to hopefully look forward to and IT WILL BE EVEN BETTER; although you may need to upgrade hardware if they are to quantum, leap game play. I actually think for the value for money Far Cry 4 is actually VERY CHEAP and even after playing only 85 hours or so I imagine I might play it for a thousand hours more yet. I can find imaginative game play when you try play with only crappy weapons or kill with only knives whenever possible; as an example; very challenging and hugely distractive; which is why I will play it so much.
To some it is expensive; I think it might be but then I also think it is huge value for money if it runs nicely. (Which is maybe the main issue on affordability)
That cost will only get so many transient beers/coffees/ etc whereas the game has much more legs; even resale value!
Shame I cannot probably ever get to play co-op without emigrating to civilisation; that could be huge fun and alone justify the cost of owning the game.
That's just my opinion.
