Wheel setup questions regarding softening the FFB effects from bumps

I've been trying to use the ExtraConfig to adjust the FFB to my liking in the crew. I'm not expecting miracles because this game is a lot more arcadey than the games I usually play, but what I would really like to do is to soften the response from all of the bumps during off road driving to stop the wheel from rattling.

First I tried reducing the camber offset and camber factor, but even reducing this to a tiny fraction above zero did not seem to reduce the forces caused by the bumps at all and did not solve the wheel rattle over bumps either.

While it is not a perfect solution, would it be possible in some way to pass the final force being sent to my wheel through a logarithmic function, or something with a similar effect such as x^(1/n), in order to soften the larger forces while still giving the smaller wheel forces a decent amount of power? For example, in either of the graphs in the previous links the X axis would be the force which the game has calculated, but the Y axis to be the force actually sent to the wheel.

Also, if anyone else has any tips for reducing the effect of bumps in the FFB while still giving a reasonable strength to highway driving I would be very interested to hear them.

    Thanks for any help

Using a G25 here and using settings I found in another Steering thread, Still using the Extraxml file as well.

Basically create a new profile in the Logitech Profiler for The Crew pointing at The Crew.exe, set FFB force down to 55%, leave rest as standard ie all zero, center spring ticked.
Have Wheel rotation at 270 to 360 degrees, ensure specific game settings ticked and leave Game to alter settings disabled.

When game starts use a wheel button at the push any key to start., Go to Options and set Force feedback in game to maximum then two clicks left (to prevent clipping).

These settings feel good to me, no massive bangs on jumps or offroad and still feel small bumps and changes in road surface.

Is pushing a wheel button at the start important? I've always been using the keyboard or mouse for menus because I can never remember which buttons do what in the menus :P

Also, do I have to set it to 270-360 degrees for this to work? I much prefer using 900 or very close to that

Finally, i tried creating a specific profile for the crew but it had no effect whatsoever. It was linked to thecrewk.exe, not the launcher .exe but no matter what i did it just wouldn't accept that the wheel was 900 degrees, but using exactly the same settings on global settings made the crew recognise it was a 900 degree wheel

If I read that right, the Loadpower and Loadfactor are the ones you should tinker with, for bumps etc.

If you change a setting in the .xml, you have to restart the game for it to take effect.

I had those up at 2.0 and 3.0 respectively, really hard to drive a Raid spec car. Now I use 1.0 for both. Haven't tested much yet.

I have my FFB at next lowest setting in-game. If you go all the way to the left and then right one time. Thrustmaster master setting 50%.

    Same issue, g27, global device - 50%,

ingame - almost disabled (1 step to the right), and still offroad is almost unplayable, hands pain included
sometimes i think that my wheel is alive and doing what its want...

game was pretty fun untill i got R car and missions for it.

Anyone with good config for g27?
extra cfg didnt helped much (maybe i did something wrong?)
