Guys I finally made it! After today I am taking a few days off. This grind has worn me down. Anyways I had a question about the ranking. I noticed the legends have a number next to their rank, and I had assumed it was showing when you got legend status. This seems to be false, as I was the 28th person to attain it, but I am rank 21. Anyone know what this actually is or how it is calculated? I assume it has something to do with overall wins or maybe win percentage.
Also wanna thank everyone on here for all the help, couldn't have done it without you guys. Such a happy family!![]()
The Legend Leaderboard uses the 'Elo' system to rank players. Google 'Elo rating system' for more information. This was confirmed by ooswannyoo, Lead Designer for Trials Frontier, in another thread.
Congratulation on making it to the Legend Leaderboard![]()

out of curiosity, did you know about this principle before? I didn't...Originally Posted by justinman114 Go to original post
I did from other games, but I still don't know all the ins and outs of the system. I have skimmed articles about it. Basically compiles a few different factors to determine a player's rank. I see it from time to time in console games. For some reason, I can't think of specific examples, but it's not uncommon.Originally Posted by bunnyhop90. Go to original post
A good exemple of a game using Elo rating, would be League of legends for exemple. Most Moba game have Elo ratings to determine the player skill.
