    SLI and 2D Surround Glitches

    Hi!

I was playing this game perfectly fine in 2D surround with one GPU however I've added an SLI capable Motherboard and a second matching GPU (GTX660)

In other Games (Racing Games) the extra GPU really helps so I don't want to reverse this work however when I play FC4 in 2D Surround with SLI there are horrible Graphical Glitches the background i.e Hills and Tress flicker like crazy and it's too distracting to play like this.

I've tried disabling and enabling all the available options but it's always broken. If I disable SLI and play on one screen everything is fine. I can't easily go back to SLI on one GPU just for this game as my third monitor is connected to the second GPU.

Wondering if anyone else is playing in SLI and 2D surround and if they have the same issues?

    Cheers.

    Having an SLI problem.
One of my GTX 780's died and whilst waiting for the replacement under warranty played most of the game on one card.
New card arrived and now back to SLI , game starts and then as soon as I move within the game, it crashes but sound is still in the background.
Have to re-boot PC to get back to desktop.

Guess SLI is a no-go with this game.

I played through the whole thing in 2d surround. There are definitely SLI problems. SMAA is broken with SLI and MSAA actually performs better than Nvidia's own TXAA though I'm not positive the former is an SLI issue as I have not tried with a single card. Like the OP mentioned the hills and trees do flicker sometimes really badly especially when flying the buzzer around. I grit my teeth and dealt with some of the glaring issues to get through my first play though because otherwise I found the game very enjoyable. I'm hoping by patch 2.0 Ill be able to play my second play through in all the glory it should have been the first time.

    Solved my problem.
Had to add the Far Cry.exe to the nVidea control panel 'cos for some reason it was not picked up when I downgraded from the latest nVidea driver 347.09 to 344.75.
The nVidea 347.09 was causing too many problems with too many games.

All is now good and now all I gotta do is complete the final Shangri-La battle with Big Bird ~ any suggestions welcome.

The final part of the Shangri-La spoils what was a decent game.
Doesn't save at any point of the battle and it becomes too frustrating to bother starting the same battle over and over again.

I didn't even bother trying to finish it. Might have another go this time round.

Ok, finally finished it with the help of a couple of Jack Daniels
Now all the challenges are done can the fortresses and outposts be reset or do we have to discover all the special places within the map ?

    EDIT

Found it ~ under game general settings.
