Is Ubisoft on hard drugs? Serious question

How does this giant company with all this money not see dozens of people complaining for 16:10 support? And then why would they implement support for the LESS COMMON 21:9 aspect ration? How is this justifiable? When can I play this game without giant black bars?

I'd be really embarrassed to be affiliated with Ubisoft in any way at this point, they're really sinking like a tank this year.

...And funnily enough, the black bars are a post-process effect. Only takes a single line of code changes to stop that from rendering.
(Unless the engine is designed to be production hell.)

This really ruined the immersion of this game for me. I can't believe they would not support these monitors.

They must be spending more time hanging out with Yogi and Reggie than fixing their game
