How to find Bomb Defusal Quests ? | Forums

i have a problem finding bomb defusal quests.
i have done all outposts in the first area and many main missions but i cant seem to find any bomb defusal quests. i have just done the first one, cant seem to find the rest.

can anyone tell me when do they appear on map or are they all located in the other area ?

I think they are evenly distributed between the North and South Kyrat. I think they show up after you have progressed more and dont show up at the beginning like say after 12 missions have been done. So, if you have not unlocked the north yet, you may not get to see any. they have a symbol that shows up on the main map like the Propaganda centers have a symbol to show where they are. You only get to do the propaganda centers after seeing Robi Rai whereas you dont have see anybody as far as I know to get the bomb defusing missions.

There is a bomb diffusing mission at the monestery, at the Kyra Tea Factory where you have to do the Burn it down mission for Sabal or save it for Amita, and at the Brick factory with the large smokestack.
then there are small little karma style bomb diffusing items that show up but aren't missions that count for the progress menu achievements, where if you are seen flying over or wandering thru it starts a timer and you have to kill a few enemies and shut off the bombs.

thanks for the reply, i got 1 other bomb defusal quest by doing some story missions. i thought earlier that they are tied to the outposts like some other quests but rather they appear on map after you do story missions.
