[BUG] An alarming glitch with Noores fortress

    Note:
This glitch has been occurring for a while now... possibly even before any patches were released, and it is still happening in patch v1.6.0.
I just kept forgetting to report it until now. (I blame all the drugs that Yogi & Reggie gave me.)

    Description:
One of the three alarms in Noore's fortress is not being reset to a working state when the Reset Outposts option is activated from the menu.
It is the one that is in the front of the fortress, next to the mortar.

Hi StabbysUpAcct and thanks for reporting this issue.

I've passed this information on for further investigation. Can you confirm if this issue occurs with any other outpost or is this the only one you've encountered?

    Thanks.

Actually, yes.. I just noticed that DePleurs fortress had one that was already disabled as well... I didn't screenshot it, but it was in front of the building with a hole in the roof and usually has a single soldier in it rambling about a witch-doctor as if he is talking to someone. (Apparently he has been visiting Yogi & Reggie too!)

Edit: Yumas fortress had all 3 active and Pagans fortress had all 4 active. So it is only Noores and Depleurs that had one already destroyed.

Isn't that because the fortresses are "weakened" after their owners are dead? That usually means one alarm is disabled.

Haven't tried to reset all outposts, but the outpost master doesn't seem to reset them back to their fully protected state.

I know for a fact some things do change after the Fortress owner is dead. Last time I took Noore's fortress, I did it after she killed herself for the first time. The front gate was already blown open and there were two guards there lying dead.

Noore's is one of the best fortresses to take. It can be easily done undetected even going loud. So many paces to hide and rain down hell.

That said, I hate that there is no option to...
    Spoiler:  Show
...save Noore from committing suicide. There's dialog TWICE in the game referring to you killing De Pleur, yet they refuse to let you. If you had that option, you wouldn't hear De Pleur talk about Noore's family being killed, so Ajay wouldn't tell Noore about it, which causes her to commit suicide. Please Ubi, give us this option and follow it up with a Noore redemption mission, even if it's just her leading an attack on the guards at her own fortress.

I had thought about that... especially after finding another disabled one is Depleurs fortress. However, both Yumas and Pagans fortresses are fully restored, even after the game has been completed.

And in my case, even Pagan is dead. (but not intentionally!) I did not pull the trigger; for reasons still unknown to me, the game forced my gun to fire (my hand was not even on the mouse), robbing me of the chance to get the proper ending.

And really, is that what it means? I don't think I have ever seen a description or explanation of why/how they are weakened. (Did I miss it? Is there an explanation of what "weakens" a fortress and what it means for it to be "weakened"?) Also, if the fortress has been weakened, shouldn't that mean they don't have the resources to send retaliating forces to nearby liberated outposts?

No. I have played all fortresses several times after liberating them and although the gates are still destroyed the alarms all reset themselves in my game.
