    mission after shangri-la?

So, after countless tries I finished the awful shangri-la boss, and... nothing! Apart from 2 lame lines of speech and the finished tapestry at my home nothing happened. Is that all? Disappointing after that epic fight. Reminds me of the weak ending of the fashion week quest series.

I found that many missions, both main story and side quests, were very well written and sometimes very funny or quirky, but the endings were always a letdown. You won't even see ending videos unless you know that they exist and where you have to go, and some lengthy collecible stories or quest lines like the shangri-la quest, fashion week or the serial killings leave you disappointed because of the lack of a proper ending and/or resolution.

Nothing in Far Cry 4 ends. You can finish all missions, kill Pagan, but it's still a country in chaos with terrible leadership, no democracy or a working justice system, and its economy is totally screwed. There's only a little bit of personal closure for Ajay (depending on how you play the ending). Amita and Sabal are not fit to lead Kyrat, they'll replace one dictator with another.
There's no "America saves the day and brings democracy". I like that.

I was looking forward to some hilarious Fashion Week ending and was disappointed as well.

I was pretty disappointed at this too.

Mainly because this, to me at least, feels like another example of Far Cry 4 not quite succeeding in certain ways. It's these questline endings alongside some general unstableness that make the game feel rushed.

It's a shame there's... well, virtually no ending to the Kyrat Fashion Week quests. I'd love to say that it IS an ending but just doesn't impress me, but I can hardly call it an ending at all.
And as for the Shangri-La missions... While I don't find them rushed but instead rather enjoyed them, some bonus karma points being the only reward does leave a few things to be desired.

Something I personally would have put into the game if I were one of the developers, was to create a very, very hidden area in Kyrat where Ajay can access either a very small and limited area of Shangri-La himself or possibly find the magical bow to be unlocked in Trading Posts. (obviously nerfed to oblivion considering time-slowing would not be a enjoyable experience in Co-Op)

I think all the endings have sucked since the first Far Cry. That one had a happy ending. Far Cry 2, meh, so what, who cares? Far Cry 3, both endings were nothing but unhappy heaps of trash after all that shooting and looting for naught. Far Cry 4?? Haven't gotten there yet, but I hear it sucks too, but I'll wait to pass judgement. Still, some of the middle parts have been fun.

Has anyone managed to get the lost letter at x:801 y:814? I can't make the jump or use the grapple line to swing over there... any ideas?

Blood Dragon had an insanely epic ending, I think. In general, Ubisoft is infamous for it's less than stellar confrontations. Assassin's Creed has it pretty bad at times. I was actually surprised this game even HAD boss fights.
