    Unknown Location issues....

Have been working on discovering all the unknown locations recently, and came across 2 that will not let me 'discover' them. The two in particular are both in the North, Coordinates for the first one are X:641.9 Y:675.3 The second one is X:622.5 Y:771.2 Anyone else having this issue?

    Yes (no spoilers)

for 622.5 x 771.2 came in by buzzer and walked around. No "discovery". Lifted off in buzzer and location was "discovered" within a few feet off the ground.

for 641.9 x 675.3 - can't get it "discovered" by what I would consider normal means. And of course, can't use a buzzer ....

Ok....came in by buzzer and it worked while hovering as you said. Man, talk about a sweet spot though, I hovered a few feet off the ground all over that damn place and finally unlocked it after a couple minutes off flying around barely off the ground. Still no luck on the underwater one. Even with my focus syringe enabled for over a minute I cant seem to find that sweet spot....annoying!

Annoying indeed. I assume it's a coding error in that for both (and perhaps others not yet encountered) the "sweet spot" is too narrowly defined.

As far as I can tell, Its just those two locations (for me at least). All other locations have been discovered, thats what makes it so annoying for me. Spent a good bit of time wiping those questions marks off my map and now I have just 1 that cant be taken care of....oh well, Im sure it will get fixed eventually as it may be a coding error as you said. My buddy just got the game so in the mean time Im helping him with co-op

It could be that the location is tied in with one of the missions. The same thing happened to me in one of the north locations, despite what I tried it would never be 'known' that is until I did one of the side quests from an outpost I had liberated. The quest was follow the smuggler to his stash and then kill him and take his keys and steal the ruby in his lock up. Turned out the basement was the 'unknown location' and as such would never have been 'known' unless I had completed this quest as you can't get into the basement with out the key!!

That makes sense but in this case the location is an underwater truck. It has three treasure chest's around it that I can unlock. I dont believe there is a mission tied into this location being that its just an underwater car wreck.

I read somewhere that the underwater one has it's activation point under the river bed, like actually under the map, which is why we can't get it. Clearly a bug if that's true.

If this underwater spot is the only one left undiscovered on a player's map, by purchasing the appropriate locations map does it solve the issue of getting to 100% if that's the goal? Personally I'm not buying maps and doing my own discoveries well after beating the game.
