Far Cry 3 Giving "Far Cry 3 Has Stopped Working" message on startup

So recently I decided to play through Far Cry 3 once again, and this was going well until one day this happened:
I was playing Far Cry 3 like normal, but outside some stupid tree decided to fall over and cut power to my apartment complex. This happened as I was playing FC3, and now I'm having problems starting it up. When I was able to get my PC running again, I launched FC3 via Steam which in turn launched Uplay as normal. However, as the game was launching from Uplay, I received an error message that "There was a problem getting your latest savegame from the cloud. The latest available data may not be available." This was not concerning, since Far Cry 3 saves to my hard drive like it should. But when I clicked continue and the game launched, I received a black screen for about 3 seconds, then a Windows Error message saying "Far Cry 3 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I then went to the Far Cry 3 game selection in Uplay and selected to 'Revert Cloud Save', resyncing my save game on my hard drive with the cloud. This took care of the error message from Uplay, but did nothing for the black screen and windows error message. I then uninstalled and reinstalled Far Cry 3, but that had no effect. I then uninstalled Uplay, Far Cry 3, and all Microsoft .NET Framework and Visual C++ and reinstalled and repaired everything associated with Far Cry 3. Once Far Cry 3 was reinstalled, I also went to the Program Files for Far Cry 3 in steam and ran the applications DXSETUP.exe, dotNetFx35setup.exe, pbsvc_fc3.exe, and VS_2008_vcredist_sp1_x86.exe as directed by the official Far Cry 3 support site. On top of that I decided to have CCleaner run all of it's scans on my PC, which turned up some small issues which I let CCleaner fix. Finally, I went to Steam and selected Verify Integrity of Game Cache, which came up with "1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired." However, upon launching the game, I was returned with a black screen and a lovely Windows error message. If anyone has any ideas about where to go from here, that would be wonderful.
Also, I don't know about my PC specs, but I know it's more than enough to run Far Cry 3, and has for the last year and a half or so.
    Thanks!

Narrowed down the problem but it still persists

Upon pressing Play in Uplay i screen will pop up telling me that there was a save game files conflict. if i choose the "Local save game" option it just launches the game. Where as when i choose The "Cloud save game" option it will attempt to sync my save game files and it will always fail and then i simply skip that step and it launches the game. Whichever option i choose it winds up being the same thing i get a black screen and a window will pop up telling me that Far Cry 3 has stopped working. The source of the problem it tells me is the file farcry3_d3d11 however whatever i try with the file ends up in failure. If anyone has a solution to this problem pless let me know. Thanks.

    Fix for your problem

Yeah, my PC bluescreened and then FC3 wouldn't run.

Your issues is most likely a corrupted GamerProfile.xml. Find it in your profile directory. It should be in C:\Users\<your username>My Documents\my games\Far Cry 3. Open GamerProfile.xml and see if it's blank. Rename that to GamerProfile.xml.bak and relaunch the game. FC3 should generate a new one. You'll have to reapply any custom graphics settings.

I opened mine with Notepad ++ and it was just a bunch of nulls, so FC3's engine had no idea how to interpret the information.

    P.S. Happy Holidays!

So I had a problem where I had to restart my PC using the little button on the top designed to do such a thing while I was playing my FC3. This caused the same problems that we all were experiencing. after going through a few fixes for problems that were not this I believe I may have found the answer. I found that one of my files was displaying none of its original content. So I deleted it and the game launched very quickly and at the same save point that I was at.

Step 1: Go to the documents section of file explorer
Step 2: click "My games" the FC3
Step 3: after entering the FC3 folder you will see "gamerprofile" and instead of trying to change its values I simply deleted it.
    Step 4: Launch game
Step 5: report to me and tell me if this works for you as well (my game made a new "gamerprofile")
