I am close to giving up on this game. Or maybe I'm just over one of my favorite game franchises of all time.Originally Posted by Pinza-C55 Go to original post
Whoever thought it was a good idea to kill civilians this way must be a sociopath. It's not just that it's a distraction,
which is bad enough, but the mindless killing of the civilians is a real turn off.
This game needs a switch to disable these mindless events. Sure life in this part of the world is tough, but not in this way.
Is not the object of the game to be humanitarian ? Make lives better for the civilians ? Why bother if the wild life kills them all ?
OK... EAGLE!!! ... Kill the Eagle and wander around checking things out.
Just when you are out of range something else attacks, and by the time you get back two out of three villagers are dead.
Great feel good moment isn't it ? .... NOT!
This is somehow good game play ? Sick is what it is.
And that's not the end of it. Wander back through a village that you have rescued hostages from and find two out of three dead.
Not a hope in hell of saving anyone.
Are we meant to overlook the civilians because of the tedious nature of this 'mission' ?
Is this game trying to prove the theory that gaming creates callous sociopath/psychopaths ? An outsider would certainly see it that way.
Game like Saints Row/GTA I can understand (and enjoy), but they are supposed to be stupidly over the top violent.
A cartoon of sorts. FC is not.
btw - A couple of racist elements in the game as well. The worst may be the holly man laughing like an idiot. Give me a break!
(btw 2 - First and most likely last post. Just had to vent my dissatisfaction at this concept )
.
What exactly makes that racist?Originally Posted by Dinwiddie Go to original post
I dint know we gotta holy man in there - who is that?
However, those ferocious animal attacks are overdone, yes, saving a hostage, or repairing a car for someone, that person just to be killed a few seconds later?
Same repetitions for liberating an outpost just to be called back 1 minute later.... "the outpost is under attack.. go help" - sorry, F*Y*, I am not the nanny here!
