left stick problem, making track building a near impossible task..

so a few months ago i was making a track and i suddenly found my left stick was automatically pushing upwards without me touching it. i figured my controller was messed up so i bought a new one. Then all of a sudden the same thing has happened to my new one yesterday.. its not a controller problem because my controllers work fine on other games, its only happening with this game. now i re installed the game and its still happening so i am really upset, because i cant build like this.. please tell me this is a rare bug or something?!? im dying to create more tracks!

Are you moving the stick when the game or console is loading? It could be a calibration thing.
