Firstly, Merry Xmas all!!!
Indeed Fusion didn't turn out to be the game alot of us were hoping for and it likely never will be. Chances are the next game wont be the game we were hoping for either. I've read a few articles in both online and print media where various Ubisoft representatives have been interviewed and one thing I took from them is that the general stance at Ubisoft is that people who voice their opinion on the Internet are the 1% and are "complainers". Trials has moved on and hard core fans are not a big part of that vision anymore and nothing we say or do is going to make a difference. I suggest we save our own sanity and the sanity of the RL/Ubi staff (who are just doing their jobs) and move on as all we are doing is further re-enforcing what they already think of us.
Just to be clear this is not me saying that the above is representative of every individual staff member nor am I suggesting that Fusion has no redeeming qualities as this certainly isn't the case - particularly on next gen, it has surpassed Evo in some key areas while falling short in others. I'm just saying that those of us who are completely disillusioned or in hope of something different are wasting their energy and lets face it, there ar far more important things in life to be concerned with. For better or worse Fusion isn't and never will be Evo and RedLynx isn't and never will be the same RedLynx again. Time to face that.
I sincerely apologise to anyone I was ever rude to out of frustration over the last 9 or so months. What's done is done and I can't reverse that, but at least know I am regretful and will try not carry on in that manner again.
Best wishes again to everyone, please carry on in whichever way you see fit.
D2 out
I suddenly had a flashback the other day.....
playing Supreme Snowboarding inside my head,
then i fell into this daydream.
i could clearly see a handfull of Housemarque devs drinking
with a group of devs from RL....
They was laughing and throwing beers on eachother,
celebrating something... There was a party going on right there.
A vision appeared, a fabulous indie-version,
a new Trials game in the making it was, and the feeling was great.

I agree with you about the length bud , but thats something im not prepared to just delete after it takes me hours to write the thing in the first place even though it may go adrift or my point get lost. The fact that i responded to the post is in its self worth 10 mins of reading whether its perfect grammer or not. Your right about this being the internet and that there is ways of sounding just like any joe with the same spellcheck or grammer bot , to up thier language skills and become just another same old post you read in day in day out. I use to use bots and even wrote my own script for one in the old days when i use to go bombing the yahoo sites when i was a young lad , back when this was done and msn groups was the main source of internet interaction. My so called long post that people seem to disslike gatherd thousands to become members of my own forum / chat room. Which accumalted thousands of real and different people from around the globe. With different styles different approaches. If my post give somewhat a view to my charactor be it what it may then this is what i aim for them to be. On official documents and forms i use a bot to control my thought and aid with alot of my grammer unfortunately this i dont think would work in here i also dont like it as it goes against what i disslike about the internet and thats. Everyone being the same boring posts you see in day out.
I originaly posted just to add a view , and pleased that i was wrong when i thought you had taken it wrongly , but this is what i call interaction. If things were so clear then this would not tickle the mind nor keep the whole aspect of interaction on places like these. There fore it would become so dam boring if we simply posted 2 lines on a post and the brain didnt not even have to work.
whoever
I can asure everyone who dislikes the way i post i could if i chose to spin out a thread that you would understand completely but have no interest in responding to because it simply doesn't stir the beast in your mind. The way i see it is its not whats spoke about but rather how the actual post vibrates and minimpulates the person responding to it...
Do i really care if people read my posts ? you tell me
hope you all had a merry crimbo , got me and my son an awsome gaming chair for my games room , full size like a leather pc chair with speakers and viration when the bikes zipping along. Top bananas it is , all i need now is a remote for the wife, mines all setp up but think i might just let him stew on his for a while.Doubt he will remove his lazy backside out of it once he is in it.
@funk
Maybe those people followed you because of what your overall message was, instead of how you were getting it across. Maybe you would've had more followers if you improved you sentence structuring.
I don't know what you mean by "same boring posts". Do you mean posts that are align with how you are supposed to write? Proper diction, punctuation, and sentence structure? A post isn't made interesting or boring based on how closely you follow the rules of writing, or by intentionally going against them.
I think you do care to be heard, otherwise you wouldn't spend the time typing such extensive posts.
Glad you had a good Christmas. I did too.
We're deep into revamping Track Central, looking into different MP options, and... other things as well. Track Central is the biggest source of fan feedback directly impacting the game design.Originally Posted by YeahimAwesome Go to original post
So, yes, we do.
Yes, you do.. It just takes 9 months, so don't pat yourselves too hard on the back.Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
I don't keep up on the latest Fusion news, so I hope "looking into different MP options" means giving us more than 8-player Supercross for multiplayer. Because that was a major disappointment.
