Merry Christmas!.. and a story of hope for Trials Fans.

I see a lot of people are still angry that Fusion is garbage, and I just wanted to sign-in to let everyone know, it's gets better.. No, not Fusion, LOL.
I mean the pain all of us have felt since the launch of Fusion, I believe many of you are still in the Anger phase of "The 5 steps of grief."

(The Kübler-Ross model, or the five stages of grief, is a series of emotional stages experienced when faced with impending death or death of someone. The five stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.)

I just want to share my personal story of my grief with the untimely death of a legendary franchise. #RIPTrials.

    - First I was in Denial that Fusion was garbage. "No, RedLynx wouldn't do this to us! They created HD and Evo.. This can't be real."
    - Then, I was Angry that Fusion was garbage. "This game sucks, I hate Ubi...~removed by over zealous moderation team~"
    - Then, I was Bargaining that maybe DLC would save Fusion. "Maybe if they just add multiplayer it can save Trials."
    - Then I was Depressed when they announced the following. "After you waited 8 months, we are proud to bring you 8-player Supercross!!"
    - Now, I have Accepted that Fusion is garbage, and was a unfinished cash grab and is beyond saving. We have to cut the life support, and let it die and move onto other games.

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, I know the holidays can be rough for those still grieving... just remember it gets better. (the pain that is, definitely not Fusion.)

Love, "soon to be banned" Yeah im Awesome.

Idk I enjoy speedrunning after not doing it for almost a year, so it's fun to me. Even though the game lacks a whole bunch of stuff the past ones have. Hopefully the next Trials will bring back MP, Bike customization and rider customization, and the phoenix/donkey/scorpion. Idk why they changed the bikes names... Anyhow I still enjoy trials maybe not Fusion but whatever I got top 30 in under 2 days. So I think the competition is dead for the most part. I don't see many ninja riders either. Also the xplat kinda needs to be more advanced w/ replays and such.

That's all I've really got to say about it.

they will probably learn from their misstakes and make a better trials...
initial release was in a shocking state, thats for sure

still though, the editor is good and crossplatform are cool, i lke the bike so its not all bad for me.
the pain is getting better, but also fusion, a little too late... but better.

This is a pretty accurate description of my feelings toward Fusion as well, except the acceptance was a month after release.

In my opinion Trials is still a great game. The editor can support a lot more complexity now and it has more advanced logic. The bike is fine. Everyone compares it to the Pheonix but it is not a Pheonix. So why compare it? It's a new bike. It's not suppose to be the same bike. It works fine and you can actually use its front tire unlike the evo Pheonix. The objects in the editor may be hard to use at times, but dlc has certainly improved that, and that's also why you need to get creative when building. When Redlynx released fusion, it wasn't suppose to be a Trials Evolution 2. It was suppose to be a new game. Complaining doesn't really help anything. Maybe people should start using constructive criticism instead of just stating parts of the game they don't like. If you give Redlynx ideas, they can use those ideas to improve the game.

You think UbiLynx cares about our feedback? ..You are definitely still in the "Denial" stage, you have a long way to go. But we are here to support you brother.

Yes, there are a lot that don't enjoy Fusion. I'm not one of them. I was at first though.

What brought me around was my switch to next gen, the game just feels better, the Team structure giving me a good reason to attempt the ingame tracks, (I usually lean toward the Custom side of things), the soon to be released MP, and the DLC's; which are getting better, the tracks more varied in theme and scope. I still get to enjoy the custom releases, there are still some great builders out there. Not as many as in a perfect world but there are enough to keep content fresh and ticking over. MoF, Kush and Monstified, to think of but 3.

I understand the game isn't Evo, it's not trying to be. It's it's own beast. I loved Evo, and still mourn now for it. Do still play the game though, as we all can. I can now enjoy Fusion in it's own right, and that's the important thing to me.

The denial thing went Donkeys ago (no pun), it is what it is. It's still Trials, and I can still get enjoyment out of it.

thats the trouble its just a meh motorbike trials game now .not the vision we had for the next trials after evo . 3 builders to keep it fresh is a bit optimistic. shame about the 103 that left .go look at morrillos youtube vids and it will shock you how many dont build anymore .
