Lost all progress in the open world after patch

Two days ago I bought Far Cry 4 for PC and a few hours ago I finally decided to try the game online (thus far I'd been starting UPlay offline and playing single player only). I updated it to the most recent patch. Then I started the game offline again.

So now my game is 1.5.0, but there is one massive problem: All my open world progress is gone. If you go from Menu to "Progress", you normally see how many Bell Towers you have taken, what kind of missions you've done, how many Fortresses you have taken, etc.

The counters for all of those have become 0. It's 0 everywhere, except the Campaign Missions. I'd show you a screenshot but I don't know how; the key doesn't work in-game.
So now the skills I've unlocked are locked again, and the weapons are also locked. I haven't lost the skills that I've bought, but they still appear as "locked". The only indication that I ever spent my skill points on them are that when I try to buy those locked skills, I get a message saying that it's already at maximum level.

    My specs are
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30 GHz
    8.00 GB RAM
    64-bit OS, Windows 7
    Nvidia GeForce GTX 570
To solve this problem, I have tried and failed:

    • Restarting the game
    • Restarting the computer
    • Starting the game online
    • Enabling Cloud Save Synchronization, in-game overlay for supported games, in-game social notifications, and social wall updates in Uplay. Uplay says it fails to synchronise and to overlay when I start Far Cry 4.
    • Claiming a Bell Tower perhaps to "refresh" the progress. Great, now my Bell Tower counter is 1/17.

I have searched and searched for people with the same problem as me, but nobody seems to. Has anyone experienced this issue and fixed it? Please tell me--I really don't want to start all over again.
    Thank you in advance.

    There is no fix

I'm the OP, and I've just received information that there is no fix. I have to start a new game. Thank you to everyone who tried to find a solution.

I have the same problem after a patch. Is there finally a solution after all this time?

or Via Steam if you bought the title over Steam if yours is not updateing contact Ubi Support ..there are NO manual Downloads of any of the patches available

open a support ticket or contact Ubi support for your region
