If you've verified your game files and are still experiencing issues with your game, please create a support ticket here; https://support.ubi.com, ensuring to provide as much information as possible about your issue as possible.
Additionally, please also provide a DxDiag and MSINFO of your system as this will help with the support investigation.
Thanks.
Yeah, I feel for you. I had the same exact issue and had to just suck it up and start a new game. This was the only way I managed to play the game, I tried older savegames that I had done backups of just in case and they did not work. This unfortunately seemed to be also quite futile attempt on enjoying the game again since it seems to persistantly crash always on coming too close on certain areas, such as bell towers or forts....Originally Posted by itosunidan Go to original post

EDIT: I tested the gameplay after verifying game files and I am glad to say it fixed issues I had with the game. Couple hours session and not a single crash.
Got the game through the holiday and this is sadening. Not to mention the stutters (It's not a proper PC Ubisoft game without stutters) the game keeps crashing at the frist mission where I can choose what path to take. It just freezes with music in the background and I had to shut it down through the taskmanager. Seriously Ubisoft, I'm glad I don't buy your games anymore because you never get it right, not once. Your games are good in theory, but these technical issues with all your games is BS. So when can we expect an update to fix this crap?
I will try to test the method of verifing the game cache, we'll see how this goes, but I am hesitant to continue until this is taken care of.
I wouldn't hold your breath. It took the guys 3 days to get back to me last week. And when they did, they asked for some files which I sent them. I then waited another 3 days before they then turned around and asked if i could unplug my xbox controller and see if it worked then!?!?! They were then out of options and only because the Far Cry 4 devs saved them by releasing a patch where they then quick to close my ticket when I said it was the games fault, not mine. They didn't even recommend verifying my game files which I only found out about on these forums which fixed my problem. The support team dont seem to know what the left arm is doing from the right. Far cry 4 devs, COMMUNICATE with your support team! and don't let them insult your loyal fans with stupid troubleshooting advice assuming its something wrong with the customers PC! "Support investigation", thats funny....Originally Posted by Ubi_Jax Go to original post
In the same boat as you. Oddly enough I was playing without issues and wanted to see how a particular scene looked at 1080p instead of 1440p(comparing the resolution differences and how much clearer everything is at 1440p) when my game suddenly crashes right as I apply the new setting. Loading back up and changing the resolution again produced the same result, after that I cannot even load my offline campaign. This is truly poor QC for such a large developer, not to mention their supremely awful handling of Unity. They need to lose money, that is the only way they will change their business practices.

I'm also experiencing consistent crashing, and Ubisoft have been no help so far. It is during the "Kill or Be Killed" Willis mission. When you get to the underground cave it crashes every time. After the crash I'm forced to start the mission again after a reload, and it is preventing me from progressing any further in the game.
I've had a support ticket outstanding for a week now (ticket reference number 01939938) and so far it has been ignored. Verifying files and driver reinstallation fixes nothing.
I know with the raft of buggy releases lately Ubi probably have plenty of support tickets to answer, but it is very disappointing to pay for a game which I cant use.
