    New Nvidia beta drivers 347.09

So i just installed the new beta drivers and SLI and general performance seems much improved, black shadow glitch is gone no funny shadows in the north of kyrat, i still get ghosting when using smaa but msaa and txaa are fine.

I've not played around with much else as i've been at work all night and am to tired so will test some more tomorrow.

So has anybody else tried them yet if not why not give them ago and lets get some feedback going.

    My specs:
    I7 3770k
    2xgtx 970 sli
    16gb ram
    p8z68gen3 MB
    samsung 250gb 840 evo ssd

Txaa and Msaa seem to be working fine but like i said i'm really tired so would like to hear some other peoples opinion.

The stuttering is still there but its nowhere near as bad but i didn't have it as bad as other's in the first place, in the release notes i didn't see anything mentioned about improving performance for FC4 so hopefully when we get a whql driver things will be even better.

Blurry MSAA? Dafuq? Only because of MFAA, but MSAA alone can't be blurry.

oh ya i guess i meant blurry txaa,
    ya know this one

NVIDIA TXAA is a custom-developed anti-aliasing technique designed to tackle temporal aliasing, the movement of anti-aliased edges when the player’s camera or view point moves. Referred to as crawling and shimmering, this movement is a particular eyesore in games with fine detail or numerous moving elements, like Far Cry 4's dynamic foliage that sways hypnotically in the wind.

Yea, I saw there was a new driver up this AM. The release notes didn't say anything about FC 4 improvements, so I didn't bother.

In FC4, TXAA is not smoothing temporal aliasing when moving. I think it's bugged.

TXAA is definitely blurry in FC4. I use MSAA 2x which is very crips, when I switch to TXAA it is noticeably blurry at 2x, and at 4x it looks like your using hard core FXAA, which is way too blurry. I think TXAA 2x is fine though, if you don't mind a bit of blur, because it's performance impact isn't as severe as MSAA.

I installed the latest drivers last night and do not feel like there was any performance improvement at all. TXAA no longer is a flashy mess, but is still tanking performance MUCH worse than it did when the game first came out. MSAA actually performs better for me, which I find odd. TXAAx2 cuts my FPS in half. I've got use to playing it will no AA at this point. Shadows are still a mess in northern kyrat. Soft shadows act the same as before and even "ultra" shadows still give me issues as well, but much more subtle than soft.

I've come to the same conclusion as many others. The game is simply poorly coded and they obviously didn't spend enough time with it. Being an Nvidia sponsored game and having it run better for AMD hardware is seems is just a bad joke right? Sometimes I get the feeling they don't even know how to really fix it at this point. I stopped my 1st play through not long after entering northern kyrat and hope to one day feel the game is polished enough to continue... It was OK-ish with 1.5 in southern Kyrat except for the annoying memory leak and the resulting stutters.. Maybe we will get a christmas miracle patch?

I'm just glad I didn't pay for it and got it with one of my 970's, otherwise I would be MUCH more upset at this point.
