What should my video settings be with a 760 GTX?

    Here are my systems specs:

    Intel Core i5 760 @ 3.2GHz
    8GB RAM
    Geforce GTX 760 w/ 2GB VRAM
    ASUSTeK P7P55D-E LX

I know my system isn't very high end but I can't seem to get any sort of decent performance out of this game. The only time I can get anything decent is on the lowest settings. I can get up to 60-70 FPS but it dips into the 50's and 40's frequently so it leads to a very uneven experience.

I have tried with both V-SYNC and Triple Buffering on and off.

Any suggestions as to what I should set my settings to? Is anybody with a similar build experiencing the same issues?

i have the same gpu, an similar cpu and 8 gb RAM either. You can keep everything on ultra or very high (if youre playing in 1080p) except for the shadow settings (use low or medium) and use SMAA or no AA at all. Turn off v-sync and triple buffer (and turn off fur too, its not pretty and demands a lot from de gpu). You can turn on the godrays. I play it like this and get 40~60 fps, but i play on 1600x900 resolution. Make sure you have the 1.5 patch installed (without it, the game is unplayable - but there still some stuttering issues that i hope ubisoft will fix).

Look at Windows Optimization Guide of thessdreview.

Make sure ALL Power settings are "High Performance".

    Overclock your gpu incrementally.

Overclock your cpu if possible incrementally. (monitor temps and optimize airflow)

If you can tell the difference with 45-50 with 60-70fps...take your glasses off.

Lowering shadows helped A LOT. I also went ahead and put everything on High instead of Ultra or Very High since I am playing on 1080p. I still get stuttering and I suffer from the memory leak, but that is much better. Thanks!

Yeah, the stuttering is still a game issue (not your gpu's fault). Even if you put everything on low, youd still get it =/

Youre welcome, man! glad i could help
