    Loosing progress left and right

I am loosing progress left and right in this game.
At one point I did the Yuma Lau quest, killed her and finished the quest, then did a tower and an outpost.
    Log out, log in.
Now i've lost the last tower and outpost (i am at the end of the Yuma quest). Damnit, quit the game again. Come to my senses and log in again.
Now my screen says "Find Yuma".. Now I've lost the Quest too.

And this **** is all the friggin time? Also some AI will be borderline super-bugged. Have a chopper pilot (last man 'standing') hide behind a mountain where you cant reach him cause "leaving mission area".

I find this game super bugged and i paid good money for it, it is not OK.

Just google "farcry4 lost progress" if you're thinking it must be an isolated incident to my setup. It is not.

Fix it? It is close to hitting the pile of games that couldnt be bothered to finish.

One thing is for sure im not shelling out dollars on the next ubi title at launch or the first 6 months of inception again. That would just be stupid, fool me once and all that.

So this thread was closed cause one person trolled it, - and it was not the OP. I am sure that was not the intended consequece.

just wanted to back it up, cause I agree on most of his points, especially this part

"I can't believe I actually paid $90 for this game. On the bright side I do know one thing for certain: I will never purchase another Ubisoft game without having played it FIRST. Good Job, Ubisoft! "

If everyone would hold off from buying half finished games, UBI would have no other recourse but finish their products but, everyone is so afraid that if they stop buying unfinished products what is going to happen is that UBI will stop making PC games. They could not be more wrong but it is hard to change the lemming mentality and this is why UBI knows they can get away clean.

I havent had the same experience but I will share what I know about saves in the game. When the 2 golden knives appear in the upper right corner the game allegedly is saving but...it really doenst work that way all the time. It only really saves when a mission is completed or side quests and I suspect towers are liberated. Then if you want to seal the deal go to a gun cabinet and buy and sell then hit ESC and get the menu and hit "Save" and then "Save and Quit" and then quit. When you come back you'll often be right where you left off. You wont get the option in the menu to save unless you at a point that allows it. And "Save and Quit" doenst help you much.
Next...... while your playing the game the checkpoints with the golden knives only work to put you back at the checkpoint IF YOU ARE STILL PLAYING, and you die, you'll go back to the checkpoint but....If you save the game you'll have to go all the way to wher the mission starts from whatever safe house you appeared in and start all over again, ie if you are doing the monastery mission you might spawn at the fort near Banapur and then have to drive or fly all the way to talk to Sabal to get the monastery mission and the drive all the way over there., so the best thing to do is to complete the missions and then quit, and if you dont have time, then quit before you get started cause your wasting your time.
I did a video on how to save games on your PC and it works very well, so it your game gets bugged you could always reload it.

I hope this makes it less frustrating for you, it has for me, and it has taken the confusion about WTF is going on, out of the equation.

Indeed saving seems to be a little hit and miss, I was sure I'd collected more masks for example and mani wheels yet progress was not getting saved until I done an outpost or tower even if I went to the gun cab and save, then save and quit still did not save them. I tested the theory by liberating an outpost but not collecting the items. Collecting the items, then selling at the gun cab and save, save and quit. Close game, open game load up and the items (chest's) still show up as not collected.

This could be a pain when you've finished everything and just want to collect the last few items!

    Andy -> Lifesaver

Knowing how to work around the issues I have just finished the game, shot him right in the kisser and watched the other endings on youtube.
Now the bugs, *******it I could live without those.
The game distilled, holy crap thats story telling. That is how I like my games well written, good story, fine graphics, for the most good controls and immersion. I could live without the bugs though. Comparatively speaking I have not fisnished DA:I it is sitting the pile of games ill problary never finish.. and that is a testament to FC4's story, the acting, soundtracks and general immersion. I could live without the bugs thou'.

I will very much look forward to what kind of wool ubi can pull over my eyes with the occulus rift/morpheus when they become reality very soon.. for the reasons stated ( I could live without the bugs though???) I think they have one of the best setups to make a killer VR title.. story, acting, immersion meets VR.. its gonna be grand.

(I could live without the bugs though)
