Hi guys. So i have ac 2 and sequels up to ac3. It seems you need an xbox live subscription to sync with uplay and therefore ac initiates. However, is it possible to play the games then later on sync all the data. Rather of course purchase an xbox live subscription to play the games as I go along.

Dude. Don't even bother with it. AC initiates doesn't even freaking work and ubisoft isn't doing crap about it, so I doubt it will ever work properly. So don't even worry about not being online, cause you can't sync to it even if you were.

You do NOT need to pay for Xbox Live Gold to sync your games to Uplay. You only need to sign up (it's called Xbox Live Free and it's... well, free) and log in to Uplay from the games.

However, Initiates still has a bunch of problems and there is no guarantee that it will work for you after you connected your games to Uplay. Just a warning... you can check out this thread for Initiates' issues.
