where is the butcher's machete? | Forums

I own FC4 Gold on pc and can't find the butcher's machete. According to the official info at https://support.ubi.com/en-US/FAQ/9/...00000ej9DCAQit is supposed to become available after completing the mouth of madness. I have finished the arena fights and even done the followup in Shangri-La, no machete to be found anywhere. No unlock message and can't find it under any category. And yes, it does show under my account.

Two weeks later, still no machete. Still no reply to my ticket, either.

I think it's a bug, I own Season Pass. I just bought it yesterday, and I dont have any of the new "Signature Weapons" I only have the "Harpoon Gun" Because I pre-ordered the game, and I neither have any of the new Hurk missions, I only got "The Syringe" mission...

I got all the other signature weapons, just the machete is missing. You should have 3 free sig weapons the first time you get to a store: 1911 pistol, driller lmg, and the elephant rifle, the pistol is really useful as it is silenced. The rifle is really handy to take out rhinos with one shot.

I dont have any of the new Signature Weapons... But I think I know why you dont have the machete, you need to reach a certain rank in the Arena and you should get it That's what I read, or complete a mission called, Mouth Of Madness

That's what their FAQ claims but I was way past that, got to rank 10 in arena and finished the game, no machete. It's clearly bugged.

As far as I know the butchers machete, like all other three guns mentioned above are pre-order weapons. So this means season pass holders and gold edition owners will get this weapon later via "Hurk´s Deluxe Pack" DLC. But as I said I´m not sure on this!

The machete is one of four preorder weapons, the other three are already in, used two of them quite a bit, actually. Hurk missions are around, too, completed all three of them and got the harpoon gun. Syringe and blood ruby missions are available as well. Missing: machete, yak farm, yeti hunt.
