I haven´t heard anything and I have sent them a ticket aswell. My suggestion is to just keep sending tickets untill some moderator writes that they know of the issues. It is frustrating not to even know if they know about the problems. If they do, just post "we are working with the companion app sync problems" then things would settle down for us players that are eager to finnish the game.

same problem, hate the fact they added in game chests only being able to open through an out of game app..annoying and imbecilic to say the least...then to top it off it wont even SYNC to use the stupid app to open up these annoying blue chests all over my map. For those who have lodged support tickets around this sync issue (most of those reading this i assume), have any of you had any updates for ubi at all... I raised my ticket on the 12th Dec and have not even had a acknowledgement at all, not even those pathetic copy paste answers i have got for other issues (initiates, rogue sync etc).
Surely Ubi can see there are complaints, why not acknowledge it and update us...

In theory, they are giving you an update on how things are being fixed, according to to this thread. Companion app hasn't been fixed since the the day it began back in November: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...T-KNOWN-ISSUES
You can see that the App section is still "WORKING ON IT". Which doesn't say much, they should just replace it with "FREE UPLAY REWARD TO UNLOCK ALL APP REQUIREMENTS"
