[Android]Companion app Helix marker not synchronizing anymore | Forums

Since the last update to companion app 1.0.4 the Helix marker stopped synchronizing with the game. It was working fine before, I was able to set the marker in the app and it immediatly got updated in the game as well.

But since the update the Helix marker appears in the game as soon as the app conntects to it, but that's it. It won't get updated anymore, no matter how often I move/reset the Hexlix marker in the app. The game will only show the marker position from the app start.

Only way to get the marker in the game updated seems to restart game and app the same time.

Anyone with the same issue? Any ideas?

Same issue.
One idea: keep the issue and hoping for a future update. Like every glitched Ubisoft product.

Support usually replay to me, with a generic useless replay the first few times, but support usually gets tehre.

Ihad the same prob i logged out of comp app . After patch 4 manually turned setting for comp app in ac unity off then on then logged back into app resynced after about 2 mins it worked . This is for an kitkat android linked with ps4.

im having the same issue.
but we all have to remember ubisoft fixed it in the updates, jk
we know they seem to break it more before they actually fix it ac initiates is a prime example of how well they fix things. it worked perfect when it was set up for ac4 then went dark to sent it up for unity now it don't work for most people and for the people that it partially works for they are missing a crap load of stuff they use to have and some of their game data doesn't even sync any more.

Could you please describe again exactly what you did? I can't follow you and the marker is still not synchronizing on my Android/PS4. Where are settings for the Companion app in AC Unity? Where/how can I turn them off/on?
