Nice work! I have a few questions/suggestions for your future releases:
-Think you could resolve the issue with Vista's not showing inside the actual game? They only show from editor and in my opinion that really takes a lot away.
-Could you make entities that will drop a random weapon with random attachment at a specific spot? Think 3 key locations in a level that never has the same loot.
-A custom loadout option for the designer? So many of these starter sets have mines and c4.
And a minor suggestion:
-The poppy flowers from the tea factory if they're not in there already.
EDIT: It's Anti-Aliasing. It will **** up the mod. Turning it off from the graphical options in-game editor fixes the issue.
Just downloaded this, I'm getting a black screen inside the editor. All icons are visible though.
Also the items are visible inside the list, but the text isn't.

All of them I've tried.
But there's something far more worrying than any of this. After installing your mod and replacing both patch files (after I made a backup of them), it somehow corrupted my game. After I reverted back to the original patch files and launched the editor again:
-The main game would no longer boot, referring to common.dat.
-The lighting was messed
-Anti-aliasing would cause the black screen issue as mentioned above.
-All vegetation had lod issues
-Letterbox viewport inside editor
-All the ledge grabs were offset by like 10 meters high
I'm using Steam. I had to re-do a file validation after deleting the 1+ GB patch and common files, and now my game works again. I highly recomend you test on various setup before making the mod public, or at least highly recommend backing up common and the large patch files, because your patch files, at least on my end, modified other files.
And another thing, and I suppose this is normal, but I've placed signature weapons with the mod on, and tested after reverting back to the default patch files, the weapons would now show as red character silhouettes. I'd imagine this means there are cross-compatibility issues and only people who have downloaded the mod will be able to get the signature weapons?

I'm able to place those NPCs without issues (as I have tested every single one of them). I also haven't had issues while using this mod. I'm guessing the problem is on your end. It could be that you have used an outdated backup (based on what your error list suggests) of patch_hd or perhaps you have mixed the files and actually tried playing with this mod?Originally Posted by Kantham Go to original post

I also tried the following:
- Loaded up Map Editor with the Editor Mod
- Placed some signature weapons on the map
- Save map, exit Editor Mod
- Replace modded patch_hd files with default patch 1.05 files
- Launch game, load the map
- Signature weapons are in the map as expected
What ever you are doing, you have most likely mixed up your patch_hd files.
What version are you using? Also was this version patched with the official December 8 patch?
1) I replaced both the patch HD files provided in the zip, just after creating a backup of the same files.
2) Ran the editor and got the black screen bug as reproted above, removed AA to solve this
3) I could tell right away the game looked differently, started noticing weirdness, like vegetation LODs screwups and ledge grabs being offset
4) Everything that wasn't NPCs would appear
5) Closed editor and reverted to HD files
6) Got the corruption, game would no longer load, only editor would.
I'll try again this evening but I'll make sure to backup more than just the HD files this time.
