I really don't want to sound ungrateful, especially as I'm currently sitting prettily on 7,712 golden tickets at the moment, all thanks to this amazing thread, but...

Due to Android users constantly sending me friend requests, I have just spent the last 3 hours trying to remove el_origen_perdi from my list because of "Connection Timeout" messages interrupting my lengthy gifting process. Because this user had presumably changed his Uplay ID at some point, and didn't have a proper avatar, I literally had to cross reference all those on my friend list that also don't have an avatar with the Uplay ID names in the gift box list.

After 3 hours of trawling through 470 friends it turned out to be someone called Daesulz. Usually it's easier to delete Android users simply by their name, or if that's changed, their avatar, but this left me tearing my hair out.

So, while I am hugely thankful to any iOS friend requests, please refrain from sending me a request if you're on Android. At the moment, half the requests I get are from Android users, so it's probably a good time to remind everyone that this just doesn't work, and you will be deleted... If I can work out who you are!

Been there too. For the last couple of months the only thing I have been able to do to keep my list clean of other-platform guys is to:
    - Gift everyone on my list.
    - take a photo all of my new freind requests (let says 20).
    - Only accept them 5-10 at a time and see if anyone new is from the other platform. . . . and deal with the smalll list instead of the full 300+.

Its a pain, so I only do it once a week or so. Takes about 15 minutes.... and about 20% of them are from the wrong platform every time.....

That is all good advice! I had planned to be more careful in future and vet the requests so that it doesn't happen again. Thanks man, they're some good ideas!

Can you make a screenshot? I just don't see the options you speak about.

Can someone brief me on the overall mechanics of gifting? I have around 40 friends. Most from this thread. I barely receive 10 tickets a day, while gift others (all the list) as soon as the game allows. I receive those in portions of 1 to 3 per time. I see strange reading like 'gifts 1/3' or '3/3', but have never been able to scroll or switch...

How does this whole thing work?!

So, there are two different ways to gift golden tickets. Inside the bunker you will find your Friends Leaderboard. From here you can only gift golden tickets.

At the top of the screen though, right next to the Uplay button (or your golden ticket total in the bunker) is the gift box. At any time you can open your gift box to check if you have any gifts waiting for you to claim. You will notice that your gift box can hold a maximum of 3 golden tickets and 10 fuel.

When your golden tickets reach the maximum (3/3) you will not be able to receive any more tickets until you empty or claim them from your gift box which will bring it back to 0/3, ready for you to receive more gifts. The same is true for fuel. Once your fuel gifts reach the maximum (10/10) you will not be able to receive any more gifts from your friends even though they may have sent some to you. The key is to keep checking your gift box and emptying it as often as you can so as to maximise the gifts that you can collect, and capitalise on the amount of friends you have.

Also in the gift box, you can not only gift golden tickets, but fuel as well. The game will allow you to gift golden tickets every 12 hours, or twice a day, whereas you are able to send fuel every 3 hours.

Basically, just keep checking your gift box as often as you can to claim your gifts and send them as and when the game will allow you to.

In this screen shot you can see that my golden ticket gift box is full - 3/3. So, until I empty it by claiming the gifts, I won't be able to receive any more golden tickets...

    Hope that helps.
