Why is it essential to know which platform the 'friend' to be added is on please mate ?

Maybe they fixed it but I dont think so.... If you add someone from the opposite platform, it will let you.... but it will NOT let you gift them (or them gift you)... and the frequent timeouts for this slows you down greatly when trying to gift everyone in your list. And its a royal pain to remove them once you are "infected", since the name you see isnt always the friends name. And since they are on another platform, you cant access their ghosts in the LB lists... etc.

Not worth the hassle; learned a long time ago never add anyone who doesnt identify themselves as your platform.
