Measurements for 360 owners who are looking to do a Remake or Tribute map.

    The map isn't 1,000 x 1,000, it's only 502.2 x 502.2. There are 51 grid squares of 10, and 2 small on each side.
Each square holds 1 guy. The small Jeep is 5 x 3.
A doorway takes about 1.25 while windows are about 1.5 width. The player is about 0.9 round.

If you wanted to do say, a replica of an RPG map, take the grid size (usually 16x16) and overlay a grid from your art program. Then you can estimate if your idea will fit O.K.
Mario Kart 64's Block Fort may take 25 x 25 Grid squares, or 250^2 .

If you haven't figured out how to keep enemies from wandering off in the Map Editor, this video covers that.
