this is a very interesting challenge. there is a lot of strategy to be had. Do you gamble and try to hold all tracks all the time with the thinking you will be able to maintain the best time all the way through? Are you concerned if you go back and forth too much the end time will be too hard to beat? do you only hold one or two tracks in hopes of keeping the times low so you can make a final push at the end? decisions, decisions.
All of this doesn't really matter since it gives you low ranked opponents with low bikes etcOriginally Posted by sriskus Go to original post
it didnt give me low ranked riders!
has anyone else noticed certain friends on your list that you seem to be able to give gifts to constantly? I wonder whats up with that?

The waiting it out strategy is not going to work because each match caps your normal tickets at 5. You can use golden tickets but you should never wait till the very end.
i dont understand why not? if you keep the times to beat really low 5 tickets should be enough to easily win in the end.
It only takes 2 and a half hours to get max tickets. You will have a much higher chance continually racing then waiting two and a half hours than not racing at all. Plus if you opponent is smart they will do the tracks until they have a good score not just until they beat you.
the way i see it the more you play a track the more likely you are to set a new PR that could be very hard for you to beat again. this is great if the opponent cant beat it but if they do you are really gambling. I think leaving some wiggle room is a safer bet. Im not sure how many people are going to work on improving their times on tracks they already own. i hadnt thought about that possibility though.
I agree. Continual improvement until you get a respectable time (even when you are currently ahead) is the best approoach. there is no benefit to "barely winning". the cardinal rule though is.... DONT go over your current set of "showdown tickets". If you hit zero, wait 30 minutes and use the next ticket to try again. Replaying once you hit zero will use one of your all-important Golden Tickets that you really need to start another Showdown.Originally Posted by Sespion Go to original post
