Yes, of course. When it will be ready. Probably early next year.Originally Posted by RSRyder Go to original post
Early next year? So we're looking at near enough a year to add a feature that you said on the box was already available at launch?
Selling a product on the basis of saying it can do something that it cannot is misrepresentation in the UK under the sale of goods act. But then computer games are a nice little loophole for you because they cannot be returned due to copyright. In certain light it looks a lot like fraud.
We announced in Press Releases, here in the forums, and on all of our social media outlets that Online MP would not be available at launch BEFORE launch.Originally Posted by Hamster-Breath Go to original post
True but redlynx was going around to the press saying multiplayer would be out soon after release or months after launch... not next year. Hell the ign article specifically stated in the first 2 sentences "Trials Fusion will not include head-to-head online multiplayer when it releases on April 16. Instead, "a completely new type of online multiplayer mode" will be added in as a free update soon afterwards. "Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
You should have issued a correction to the website stating that the multiplayer release was nowhere near soon. But the reality is redlynx went around purposefully deceiving websites and players into thinking it was going to be available shortly after launch in order to sell more copies. Which is indeed fraud, any judge would agree. The obvious problem is proving it was done intentionally... which means gamers have little to no legal recourse.
But we all know what you did.![]()
ya really WTF IS THE DELAY? THE GAME SHOULD HAVE BEEN FINISHED BEFORE RELEASE!!!!!Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai Go to original post
