Patch 1.5, SLI 980's, gysnc experience so far

Thought i'd share - i'd previously had to hack SLI on with inspector and used the older 344.65 drivers to avoid various problems (black crush etc)

    After patch 1.5:

    - crash to desktop on launch

    So:

    - deleted GamerProfile.xml (C:\Users\Tim\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 4\f1e3xxx9-8b32-4de1-921f-xxxxxxxxx)
    - now game launches (had hacked a couple of things in there so fair enough)

    - now found that gsync stopped working and shadows were doing some weird stuff (projecting all over the place erroneously)

    - updated to the 344.80 drivers
    - re-enabled SLI as normal in the CP

Result - game launches, gsync is now on and SLI is working too.

Some small problems with shadows though.

I read that nVidia soft shadows can cause some issues, try reduce it to Ultra and see if that helps. (assume you're using soft shadows)

    Good ,luck.

    After Patch 1.5

I also run GTX980s SLI and the main issue I continue to have is stuttering...even after patch 1.5. I've tried all the band-aids and even tried capping my framerate at 40fps through MSI Afterburner (Vsync & TB on) and it will constantly stutter. The FPS drop a few during each stutter as well. Textures at Medium reduces it which is not acceptable to me. The patch has reduced the stuttering but only a little.

    STILL NOT PLAYABLE!

    Game Settings:
NVIDIA (Ultra + NVIDIA - HBAO+, TXAA4, Enhanced God Rays)

    My Specs:
    i7 4790K
    GTX980 SLI
    8GB RAM
    1200p monitor

Update did squat for me. I can run the game maxed out... but still only with medium textures. As soon as textures are set to high or higher, boom st-st-stutter fest returns.
