Corpses and vehicles need to last longer

    Hey there,

So, I find the disappearing body routine to be extremely jarring. I suppose, when playing the game on a console, memory management is something of a necessity, but I've got a pretty decent rig and would like to extend the range and duration of both corpses and vehicles. Ie. I'd like the bodies of the guys I just killed to still be there after I run across the street to takedown their friend and I'd like the gyrocopter I just landed to still be in the street after I collect the air dropped supplies. As of right now both corpses and vehicles vanish so fast it feels like I'm running around in the twilight zone.

So, I'm not afraid of opening up ini or xml files and changing some variables, but I don't know which files to edit or which variables to tweak within them. Does anyone know? And would you be kind enough to share such glorious and secretive info with me?

    That's it. Cheers.

They can't even fix this issue with mod tools in FC3, so doubtful they'll ever be able to fix it in FC4.

Just another example of terrible console porting putting PC games "down to console" level. Seems like most of the problems come down to it being a terrible console port actually. Terrible key binding bugs/ issues, SLI issues, general GFX bugs, TXAA, SMAA bugs.. shadow bugs, mouse input bugs.. GFX/game limitations for consoles that are stuck on with PC game no matter what.. (issue in OP)..

Yeah.. "next gen" isn't helping like we all hoped it might. Not yet anyways.

I guess we wait ten years for next batch of so-called "next gen" underpowered consoles to cripple PC games.

Sad thing is these issues could probably be fixed relatively easily if they would just make up their mind to do it. But of course it is the new Ubisoft we are talking abut, and they don't seem to care too much about PC gamers, instead they like to blame us for all there problems, and release broken alpha/beta type products to us and then never completely fix them.
